Jake finished off the last bites of his chocolate cake. He fed Bella the last piece and she gladly took it.
"That is one exceptionally decadent chocolate cake." She praised.
Yeontan jumped up into her lap. "Sorry, Tannie." She stroked his back. "You can't have chocolate."
"You know that about dogs?" Taehyung turned to look at her.
She nodded. "I love animals, dogs especially. I think I read about that bit about the chocolate somewhere."
"I did a lot of research before finally adopting Tannie. I wanted to be a good dog daddy. Tannie's health is not the best." Taehyung shared. "But he's a tough little fighter, that's for sure."
Bella hugged Yeontan and looked into his eyes. "Keep up the good fight, Tannie."
"Maybe we should take Tannie for a walk. He hasn't been able to stretch his legs since we left Seoul." Jimin suggested.
"It is night time, anyway. There won't be that many people outside." Jake agreed.
"Are you ready to go, Tannie?" Bella asked the Pomeranian. Yeontan barked.
"See? He fully understands English. I told you he did." Taehyung laughed. "Hold on, let me get his leash. I'll be right back."
Taehyung stood up and left the room while Jimin started stacking the plates with Jake assisting him.
Taehyung came back in record time, bringing Yeontan's red harness and leash. As soon as he saw it, Yeontan immediately ran to Taehyung.
"Yes, Tan-aah. We are going for a walk.", Taehyung told his excited little pet.
Bella took her keycard from the card slot and they made their way to the elevator where they left the fifth floor. Retracing their steps from when they had first arrived, they found themselves back on the ground floor and the same security officer gave them a curt nod.
The four of them left Building Three and went out the door. They entered the area where there was a fourth pool. In it, there were three different-sized gazebos. All three gazebos were decorated with brown wicker chairs and had cogon roofs. As the lights in the pool were turned on, it gave the pool a very blue, ethereal look.
Taehyung let Yeontan explore that area while the other three watched the duo, seated comfortably on the chairs.
"Does V-oppa have time to do this for Yeontan back home in Seoul?" Bella asked Jake. They were seated beside each other while Jimin was seated across them. Jimin was taking videos and pictures of Taehyung and Tannie and of Jake and Bella. He included a few selfies, removing his face mask.
"No, not really but I'm sure he would like to." Jake replied.
"I see him visit your shoots and choreography training but I assume he's kept on a leash when V-oppa can't attend to him?"
"V-hyung has a collapsible playpen for him so Tannie can have free range of motion. He and Holly like to run around in there." Jake shared.
"Holly is cute, too. What is his personality like?" Bella inquired.
"He's like a mini Suga-hyung. Slow to warm up but very sweet once you catch their fancy." Jake described.
With Taehyung in tow, Yeontan ran towards Jake and Bella. "I think he wants to look around elsewhere." Taehyung said, sitting down for a second.
"I can take him, if you want. You guys can stay here and hide out." Bella offered.
"We don't get the chance to do this very often, Bella. It's nice to get out and explore more." Jimin objected.
Taehyung stood up, "Let's let Tannie lead the way."
Jake, Bella and Jimin followed as Yeontan left the gazebo area and ran towards the left. They followed him down a sand-covered path that led to a wooden deck overlooking the sea. Its steps were lined with lights. White wicker chairs were scattered all over the deck.
