TIME SKIP: ONE YEAR AND EIGHT MONTHS

December 9, 2026

BTS had been on the road for the last six months. They kick-started their final tour in Seoul, hopping on over to Europe for two months and then to the US for another two and finally back in Asia for the last two months.

They tried their best to visit as many cities as they could, performing for at least two nights in each city to give every single ARMY a chance to see them.

All of their concerts were sold out. Tonight was no exception.

It was day two of the BTS Farewell Concert Tour and marked the last time all seven members would be on stage in a concert as active members of the globally-loved k-pop group.

They chose the Philippine Arena in Sta Maria, Bulacan as their last stop for a few reasons. First, it had a seating capacity of 25000 and was the largest one in the Philippines. And with the twins’ birthday coming up soon, they would all fly to Cebu after the tour to celebrate it with Jake’s parents, his brother, sister-in-law, nephew and the twins.

Deep into the concert preparation, Mr. and Mrs. Jeon flew back to Seoul to supervise the twins’ education. Jake and Bella had decided that it was best for the younger ones to sit this concert tour out.

JungHyun, his wife and two-year-old son flew to Cebu to take care of the store, extending their visas as necessary with the help of the family lawyer.

Now standing backstage, Bella played with her snowflake pendant as she watched Jake and the others on stage performing Fake Love.

After this song, she would be joining them and the rest of the back-up dancers for a high-intensity dance set featuring Dionysus, Not Today, Idol and then Fire

Dai Yu, a Chinese dancer who chose the English name Dorothy, tapped Bella on the shoulder. “Gabshida. (Let’s go).”

Bella turned to look at her and followed her on stage as soon as the lights went out. When the lights turned back on, she and Dorothy had their backs to each other, hands clasped in front and heads lowered.

Dorothy and Bella had been friends for close to eight months now. They gravitated towards each other during the auditions and continued to be the other’s motivation during the month and a half training.

The BTS members assured Bella that she did not have to go through the auditions but she insisted on doing it anyway, going through the process like every other back-up dancer, wanting very much to prove to herself that she belonged in the tour because of her own merits and not because she was Mrs. Jeon Jungkook.

It helped that she kept her maiden name even after the marriage.

Dorothy was one of the four female back-up dancers and Bella was closest to her. If Bella had stayed in the dancers’ dorms, she knew she would be rooming in with Dorothy.
