“Puppy! Eotteokke jinae? (How are you?)” Taehyung’s sing-songy voice filled the room. He was in a white suit. His curly hair was straightened and parted along the left side of his head. He had make-up on and Bella noticed a white silk scarf showing atop his white button down. He looked absolutely regal.

“Wae? (Why?) It would be the best thing for Kookie. The poor guy’s been just a mess missing you and the twins. He will absolutely love this surprise.”
“I’m sure he will. This is such an amazing thing for you to do, V-oppa. Kamsamnida (Thank you!)”
“All seven of us miss interacting with ARMY. Jiminie and I were talking about doing something like this and I just kind of thought that it would be a good idea to sneak you in there.”
Bella chuckled. “You’re really one of the smartest people I know, V-oppa. Seriously."
Taehyung rewarded Bella with a huge boxy smile. “Anyway, how is my little Kira? Can I see her?”
“She’s with Tita Diana, V-oppa. Hold on, let me get them.” Bella motioned to stand up.
“Were you asleep? Oh, Mianhe (Sorry), puppy. No, no, I can always call you back later after we record the show. Will let you know how it goes with Kookie.”
“I just finished breastfeeding Kija and he’s milk-drunk and knocked out cold.” Bella chuckled. “Kira’s wide awake and bonding with her grandparents.”
“Can’t imagine how you do it, puppy. I can barely keep it together with Tannie.”
“I used to think that way, V-oppa. But when you’re in that situation, you just go and do it. Plus, Tita Diana and Uncle Joseph are the best grandparents. At least this way we outnumber the twins 3 to 2.”
Suddenly, Taehyung looked to his right and ended the call. Bella shook her head and typed.
Xiao Tian Shi: Uh, rude… Let me guess, Jake came out into the hallway to find you?
A few seconds later Taehyung replied.
Kim Yeontan: Sorry, Puppy. He did and he thought I was talking to some girl I like.
Xiao Tian Shi: Gee thanks, V-oppa.
Kim Yeontan: Noooooo, that’s not what I meant.
Xiao Tian Shi: You are just a bundle of nerves, aren’t you? Don’t worry about it, V-oppa. Go on and spring that surprise on Jake. I’ll nap while Kija is asleep. Kira might be looking for the milk machine again soon. Who knows when I’ll get the chance to close my eyes? Enjoy!
