"I got to say, I was really hoping to see you in that wedding dress." Jake teased Bella as she went to meet him at the lobby. He was in a simple black long-sleeved shirt with the brand Balenciaga pasted across the front of his chest. It was a little snug around the arms. He was wearing ripped jeans and his black and white high tops. His signature bucket hat was on full display. Like the other times she had seen him, he had plaster on his right hand.

Bella swat at his arm. "You have to propose to me first." She was in her jeans and purple turtleneck.

Jake bent over and hugged her, whispering in her ear. "For argument's sake, if I did propose to you would you say yes?"

Bella stopped mid-hug. She rested her chin on his shoulder. "If you were to ask me now, I'd say no. I want to get to know you better first." She broke apart from him.

"Good answer." Jake said, taking a face mask out of his pocket and pulling his bucket hat lower on his head. "Do you mind if I wear this today?"

"No, not at all. Go ahead."

"Thanks." He said, taking her left hand and leading her out the hotel door.

Bella looked to the front desk. She saw that the two receptionists she had seen on her first day here were on duty. They seemed to be staring at Jake. The female had her mobile phone out as if she were taking a video. She gave them a curt nod as she followed Jake out.

Jake took a right turn, seemingly tracing the route Bella had taken when she went to take money out of the machines. They walked in silence for a few minutes. When they got to the ATM center, Bella pointed to the machines. "This is where I finally managed to take money out."

Jake looked to his right. "Glad you were able to use your card. You must have been so worried."

Bella nodded. "Damn straight."

Jake turned to look at her.

"What?! Did I say something wrong?"

"No, nothing wrong with that."

"Good."

They walked in silence for a few more minutes. Through the glass doors of some of the stores they passed, she could see how much of a height difference they had. She basically came up to his chest.

Bella wondered where he was taking her or if he even knew where he was going.

"We're here." He finally said, pointing to a stall.

Bella followed his line of sight. "Oh my god! Tiger sugar? For real?" She squealed, pulling at his arm. She did not realize she was hugging his arm.

"We ARE in the land of Milk Tea. Have you had any yet?" Jake asked.

Bella thought for a second. "Come to think of it. No, I haven't!"
