Bella was at work, having breakfast. She chewed the Tocino from her Tocilog and sipped her coffee. Her mind brought her back to that Saturday in her room. Honestly, she hadn't known what had come over her. She didn't plan on any of that happening. When she asked him to come to her room, all she thought about was that she wanted a private moment with him before he left. As she told him that day, who knows when they would get the chance to see each other again?
But that was the thing with Jake. Everything with him was so organic, so seamless and just so natural. From their chance meetings in Taipei to their interactions online right down to her integration into the lives of the other BTS members. None of it was forced or hard. It just was.
She heard the discussions that they had in Dusit Thani about the sasaengs. She fully understood the risks and the things that came with her choice that day. The choice she made to commit herself to him scared her to the highest heavens. Oh, heck yeah, she was scared. But she had faith that whatever was meant to happen would happen. In the meantime, they all just needed to be careful.
Taehyung's reasons for accompanying Jake to Cebu made a whole lot of sense, when she really thought about it. It was easier to claim her as everyone's friend than just one member's special someone. It really was the truth, though, except that she was actually both. Another thing that she appreciated with Jake was that she noticed that he never forced himself into their conversations, staking his claim on her over his hyungs. He accepted that each one of them was forming a relationship with her. And she admired him so much for it. She felt like he was very secure and very mature to act that way, despite being the youngest.
Eating another spoonful of Tocino and rice, Bella felt grateful for the last three months of her life. Without even knowing it, that hastily made decision to visit Taipei had changed her life and brought her so much joy.
She chuckled inwardly as she recalled the group call that happened on Saturday night at 10pm Philippine Time. Taehyung, Jimin and Jake had arrived in Seoul at around 9pm Philippine Time and had gone straight to their meeting room at the company building. They all agreed on a night concept meeting that time owing to the fact that the Maknae Line would be flying in from Cebu and arriving late.
Yoongi had created a group chat on Line that included Bella and named it 'Seokjin's 7 babies'. The fact that Yoongidamus himself had created the group chat on the day Jake first introduced her to all of them was just astounding. Granted he had not added anyone else to it until that Saturday night when Jake told them the good news but still. The rapper/producer had really taken to Bella, something that surprised everyone especially Yoongi himself but facts were facts.
Jake had initiated the call in the group chat and everyone answered on their own phones. They were all seated in the meeting room around an oval-shaped conference table. Bella could see that the walls were an immaculate white.
"Hey baby!" Jake had waved at her and gave her an extra bright bunny smile over the claps and cheers from the group. "I miss you already."
"She's also my baby now, JK!" Jin had teased. "Yoongi's GC name says so."
"In a different sense, though, Jin-hyung!" Namjoon defended Jake.
"Come to think of it, since she's younger than Kook, she's everyone's baby too!" Hobi inserted.
"She's not just my baby sister, she's my puppy too!" Taehyung quipped. He still had Yeontan with him, laying on Taehyung's shoulder and asleep.
Yoongi groaned. "How in God's green earth did Bella become your puppy, Taehyung-ah?"
"It was from an off-hand comment he made, Yoongi-hyung. We were all getting ready to sleep and the four of us fit in the bed. TaeTae said it was a lucky thing that Bella was basically the same size as Tannie." Jimin explained.
