“Annyeong, Jin-oppa, Hobi-oppa. (Hi, Jin, Hobi.)” Bella greeted Jin as she closed the sliding glass door. “What are you guys doing out here?” Jin was lounging in front of the pool with Hobi. The sky was overcast, which suited everyone just fine.
“Oh, hey Chichi!” Jin greeted.
“Morning, Corgi! We’re just relaxing out here and enjoying the view.” Hobi replied.
The pool had a rectangular shape and was a respectable size. It was up to 6 feet deep. Attached to the right side of it was a jacuzzi. Near the jacuzzi was a huge white umbrella with a table and monobloc chairs under it.
Beyond the property’s fence was a white sandy beach that led out into the inviting sea. There were no neighbors in either direction. It seemed like the perfect spot for the idols to go on vacation.
Arranged in a row where Jin and Hobi were lounging, were three white lounge chairs. Each chair had their own umbrella for shade. Hobi, who was seated on the middle one, moved to the furthest chair to make room for Bella.
“Take this middle one, Corgi.” Hobi instructed.
“Kamsamnida (Thank you), Hobi-oppa.” Bella thanked him as she lay on the chair.
“Gwaenchana. (It’s alright.)” He replied.
“What brings you out here?” Jin asked. “Where’s Jk?”
Bella pointed to the kitchen, which was not visible through the sliding glass doors behind them. “In the kitchen making brekkie for Jimin-oppa. Thought I’d spend some time with some of my favorite people.”
“We can hear you from up here.” Yoongi shouted from above.
Bella looked up to see both Yoongi and Namjoon in the balcony outside the master’s bedroom. Namjoon had a book in hand and Yoongi had a laptop on his lap.
“I said ‘Some ‘, Yoongi-oppa.” Bella shouted back.
Hobi chuckled. “You up for a morning dance exercise, Corgi?”
“What did you have in mind, Hobi-oppa?”
“Let’s practice Black Swan.” Hobi suggested.
“Oh, for sure. Let me get changed.” Bella pointed to her Kookie jammies. “These are a little thick. Be right back.”
Hobi nodded as she stood up and walked past the maknaes in the dining room.
“Where you off to, baby?” Jake asked. He had finished making Jimin’s French toast and was seated at the table.
“To get changed, baby. Hobi-oppa wants to practice Black Swan.” Bella replied.
“I’m coming with.”
They both made their way upstairs to their room.
It took them about thirty minutes to come down.
“Did you take a shower first, Corgi?” Hobi asked when Jake and Bella got back to the pool area. He noticed that the two of them were a bit flushed.
“Let me do some stretches to warm up first, Hobi-oppa.” Bella smiled, avoiding the question.
“Let me warm up, too.” Jake said. “I could use a bit of exercise.”
Hobi said nothing and just nodded as he set up his Mang bluetooth speaker.
Jin just watched the exchange silently. Namjoon glanced at Jin and Yoongi observed everyone else.
When they were finally ready, they chose an area near the pool facing Namjoon and Yoongi up in the balcony.
“How far did we get the last time, Corgi?” Hobi asked.
“Just to the first chorus, Hobi-oppa. I think you said we were going to do the second part next.” Bella replied.
“We should review the first part before we proceed, then.” Hobi decided. “JK, just dance your part as usual and I’ll dance mine. Corgi will be doing Jiminie’s part.”
Bella giggled as she saw Taehyung and Jimin come to sit on the lounge chairs. “Feel free to tell me if I’m doing it wrong, juseyo (please), Jimin-oppa.”
Jimin put two thumbs up. “You can do it, Bella.”
Taehyung had his phone out, getting ready to record.
Bella took the center position and placed her arms up slightly higher than her waist on either side of her, imitating a swan’s opened wings as Hobi taught her. She leaned her body to the right, where Hobi was just in front of her. Jake was on her left.
The music played and she started to count the beats in her head. ‘Two, three, four’ She flapped both her arms and cast them upwards immediately. She turned the wrists of both her hands inward and gave them a flick in time to the beat. Slowly and gracefully bringing her hands down, she waited for the ‘ding’ that would signal the time to turn and exchange places with Jake.
Bella then did a spin and knelt on her right knee, with her left leg in an extended angle supporting her weight. ‘Do your thing, Do your thing, With me now’. Jimin’s recorded voice sang. She brushed her fingers lightly against the floor, back and forth to the beat. At ‘now’, Bella raised both her arms.
‘Do your thing’. Studio Jimin continued to sing. At ‘thing’, Bella angled both her elbows towards the back.
The song continued to play with Jimin’s crisp and cool voice. Suga’s soft voice then came on and Jake did a solo since the rapper currently did not participate. While Jake was dancing, Taehyung handed his phone over to Jimin and joined the trio.
When it came to Namjoon, Jimin and Taehyung’s official dance part, Bella and Taehyung entered seamlessly and continued on with the performance without missing a beat. They walked a few steps forward rhythmically and exchanged places as Taehyung and Jimin do in the official choreography. They spun and did the body rolls into the ‘bump, bump, bump’ lyrics continuing on into the chorus.
