June 20, 2020

The global pandemic had brought the world to a standstill. Economies had shut down, businesses were closed, schools had shifted to online environments and only essential personnel were allowed outdoors.

The streets were a near-ghost town.

But you know who was busy filming and bringing good vibes to the world?

BTS.

BTS had full schedules when people were in their homes and glued to their laptops, tablets, phones and TVs.

In May, Yoongi had released his mixtape, D-2, which gave rise to one of Bella's absolute favorite songs, Daechwita.

A few weeks later, BTS did ‘Dear Class of 2020’, where they gave brilliant speeches and performed songs like ‘Spring Day’, ‘Mikrokosmos’ and ‘Boy with Luv’ at the National Museum of Korea. It was presented on YouTube.

They continued to learn choreography for upcoming song releases like ‘Dynamite’ and a few days ago, they concluded their live virtual concert which was basically a spin off from a two-day event that they streamed in April.

Sometime next month, another Japanese album would drop.

Last that Bella remembered, BTS was in the process of finalizing the set list for another two-day online concert scheduled for October.

Bella knew that there was so much work that went into just one performance. She couldn’t imagine the schedules they were all having.

She couldn’t blame Jake at all for hanging out with Eunwoo, Mingyu and Jaehyun at Itaewon. He definitely needed that break.

Unfortunately, even if he had visited those bars at least a full week before that positive covid-19 case surfaced, he and his friends were made out to be the bad guys.

Considering that there were so many other people there and Seoul had relaxed restrictions at that time, they shouldn't be blamed. But they were.

Bella couldn’t figure out how and why Jake and his friends had to take the blame. All their agencies even apologized for something that they did in the normal course of being human.

No laws or restrictions were broken. So... why?

It just went to show how much Jake had on his plate.

She had to leave it to Jake, though, he still continued to send his good morning messages and squeeze in a good night video call as often as he could.

Jimin and Hobi would upload videos of super random things in their Seokjin’s 7 babies GC and it would keep Bella entertained.

She, however, could not send them anything interesting. Except maybe some commentaries on their performances that she had watched alongside the world.

While the guys were doing all that, Bella made trips up and down her house. The lockdown in Cebu started on April 1 and it was coming up on three months now that Bella had not stepped out her door.

She had always been one to stock up on things. Food, snacks, drinking water, toiletries, batteries and other everyday household items like laundry soap and dishwashing liquid. She made it a point to ensure that there would be little to no chance at all of running out of a certain product.

It served her well during the lockdown as she had purchased these items gradually over time and not all at once.

In a way, she was glad to stay indoors. She not only had more time to level up on Azefalgar and Mobile Legends but she was also able to rest.
