After they had their lunch, the group left Greenwich and proceeded to explore the mall. They walked into several different stores including clothing shops. Hobi, Jin and Yoongi bought a few shirts that they found interesting. Jake bought a purple cap and handed it to Bella to put on. Namjoon picked up some souvenirs for Taehyung and Jimin.
They came across a Watson’s store and Bella immediately got excited.
“I can tell we are walking into this store.” Yoongi spoke.
“My sister is exactly the same way about stores like this.” Hobi laughed.
“We don’t need the powers of prophecy for this one.” Jin added.
“Please, oppas.” Bella smiled sweetly, pulling on Jake’s arm.
“Lead the way, baby sis.” Namjoon motioned with his hand.
Jake chuckled at how his hyungs caved in with just one bright smile from his special someone. Immediately, he felt a sense of peace seeing them interact this way. Looking at this woman by his side, he felt content and blessed. She was definitely a keeper.
Instinctively, he picked up a basket at the entrance as three sales ladies approached them and welcomed them into the store.
“Oh, we won’t be needing that baby. Just wanted to see what was on sale.” Bella said.
“Baby, just sit back and enjoy the show.” Jake whispered, kissing the side of her head.
They went through the store, row by row and shelf by shelf. As Jake had predicted, the hyungs had picked up several toiletries: Tubes of toothpaste, toothbrushes, bottles of mouthwash, different types of shampoo and conditioner, cans of shaving cream, a pack of disposable razors, a pack of wipes on sale, four combs and hair gel.
By the time they had gone to the counter, the basket was practically falling apart.
And there Bella stood with one tube of Maybelline lipstick.
The cashier rung up their purchases. They all turned to look at Jin when they saw five packs of Gummy worms. Yoongi joined them with a few more snacks and juices gathered in his arms. Hobi flashed the cashier a bright smile, which obviously could not be seen through the face mask but his sparkling eyes did the trick. The cashier froze for a millisecond and then continued checking out their purchases.
Bella held in a laugh. Hyung line or not, these men were just utter chaos. Every single one of these BTS members were just walking pure comedic gold.
“Baby, throw that lipstick in there. Let us pay for it.” Jake nudged her.
Bella shook her head. “Nope, I’m paying for my own purchase.”
Jin grabbed the tube from Bella’s hand and handed it off to the cashier. “Please.” She dutifully scanned it through.
“Oppa!” Bella uttered in surprise.
“Chichi.” Jin inclined his head.
“P, you see this stack over here?” Yoongi pointed with his finger to all of the things that they bought. “None of us are going to think that one tube of lipstick is one purchase too many.”
Jake hugged her from behind. “Baby, don’t feel bad. I know that you like paying your own way. It makes you feel independent. I get that. But let us take care of you once in a while. This is why we work hard. To be able to take care of the ones we love.”
“I thought it was because you loved what you were doing.” Bella sulked.
“That, too.” Jake kissed her right cheek.
