Chapter 21

Adria's POV:

I woke up alone in the bed. But the room smelled like him so he probably was here and I vaguely remembered him holding me at night.

I slowly got up from the bed and went to get ready for the day. I had a free day today so I went down to the library to spend some time with the books.

I walked inside my very favourite room in the entire house and went right to the bookshelf. I looked trough to see what I could read today. I took out a book and sat on the couch and started reading it.

Time was going by fast today and I was already half way done with the book. I was feeling quite hungry so for once I decided to go eat lunch with everyone.

I took my place by the table on the right side from Lucian's seat at the end of the table. He still hadn't come but the table was slowly getting filled with people. My eyes locked with Vivian who walked inside the room with Nicole and gave me a devilish smile before sitting down. Before I could notice I felt a kiss on top of my head which took my gaze away from Vivian and I looked as I saw Lucian sit down next to me.

"What do I owe this pleasure to sit next to you today?" He asked me surprised that I had joined everyone at the table tonight.

"I was just really hungry" I said and took my fork as the food was placed in front of me.

I looked down at my plate and there was a piece of salmon with some sauce and a salad on the side. And olives. Green ones.

I looked up from my plate at Lucian who looked at me confused at first and then noticed the olives on my plate.

"It's just two olives Adria" he said.

"I still don't like them" I said and looked as he turned his face away from me clearly trying to hide a smile.

I pushed the olives aside from the rest of the food and then another fork came in my vision and took the olives off my plate.

"Better?" He asked me eating the two olives.

"Yes, thank you" I said giving him a smile and only then starting to eat my food. It was really good and I finished my plate quite fast.

I didn't wait for anyone else to finish their foods I just took my plate and stood up walking into the kitchen and placed it into the large dishwasher.

"You're going to the library?" Polina appeared from a corner and almost scaring me.

"Yeah" I said and closed the dish washer.

"You're coming too?" I asked her and washed my hands in the sink.

"I have to show you something, meet there in 15?" She asked me.

"Sure" I said and she smiled and rushed out of the kitchen.

I walked out of the kitchen and to the library. I fell back on the couch and took the book that I was reading and read a couple of pages before Polina came in.

"I need your opinion on this outfit" she said walking in dressed in a black dress that we got her that day with some simple nude heels and a small handbag.

"You look amazing Polina" I said and stood up from the couch to go over to her and make her do a 360 for me.

"Where are you going?" I asked her.

"I have dinner with Tobias tonight" she said and her face lit up but I saw a little bit of worry behind her eyes.

"You look stunning" I said to her trying to assure her.

"Stunning enough that he won't kill me when he finds out that I'm pregnant?" She said in a quite voice.

"Wait what?" I asked her. Did I just hear that right?
