Lucian's POV:
"Your dad will be back next week" Tobias said to me at our meeting with few of our members.
"I know, what about it" I asked him.
Everyone was now carefully listening to our conversation right now.
"What are you going to do with Adria? You know your dad will be against her being here" he said and he did have a fair point.
My dad was a family type of man, ever since I was little he used to spend so much time with me and my sister and family always came first to him. But when my mom died a couple of months ago it crushed him, it crushed him so hard that he stepped completely away from mafia, went to live alone on an island somewhere in the middle of the ocean and didn't want to see anyone. He loved my mom, she was his best friends and his greatest adventure from what my mom used to tell me when me and my sister were little.
"I don't know" I replied remembering Adria.
"The only way she could stay here is if she becomes a member or if you marry her" he said and now was starting to get on my nerves.
"Don't you think I know that?" I growled.
"Or you could kill her" Vivian said from the other side of the table.
"If you can't do it I can" she added on and everyone's eyes were focused on her now.
"No one is touching her" I said making it clear to everyone that if they do anything there will be consequences.
"My dad will think she's the new recruit and that's it" I said and got up from my seat.
"This meeting is over" I said and left the room.
I walked through the hallways towards my bedroom but stopped at Adria's door, I knocked and slightly opened it only to see it empty. She probably was at the library again.
I walked into my bedroom and got changed. The new recruits were coming today and it will be busy next two weeks. And hopefully my dad leaves with them so I won't need to make up lies for him.

Adria's POV:
The new recruits had come today and all of them were young people. Mostly men, from 18-25 in age. And some of them were attractive I have to agree but none of them really were it for me. But it didn't matter I was ready to play the same game Lucian was playing and it didn't matter with who I would be doing that.
We had dinner and then I wondered off in the small kitchen and snacked on some berries when one of the new recruits wondered in the kitchen.
"Oh hey, what are you doing here alone?" He asked me.
"Don't really like the company out there" I said and gave him a nice smile.
"Understandable, I'm not really big on loud chaotic dinners too" he said and laughed making me slightly laugh too.
"So what's your name?" He then asked me taking a seat in front of me.
