BBM's POV

After kong ihatid si Jade sa kanila, umuwi nako. Wala naman akong sched for today kaya makakapag bonding kami ng mga anak ko.

We were watching a movie sa Netflix. Andito sila sa kwarto ko. Ive decided to check my emails. Baka may mamiss out ako eh.

I was just browsing my email, when this got my attention.

'hihiwalayan mo si Jade o papatayin ko sya pati mga mahal nya sa buhay?'

I froze. Napansin ng mga anak ko yung reaction ko. Pakiramdam ko namutla din ako. Inusisa lang nila ako pero iniwan ko sila.

Sino bato? Ilang araw na yang nagsesend ng threats. Nung una, ako lang pinagbabantaan. Na kesyo mag withdraw na daw ako sa prssidential race or else papatayin nya daw ako and the likes kaya diko pinapansin. Sanay nako jan. 30 years na yang ginagawa saken.

But when he mentioned Jade's name, natakot ako. Tulad ng sinabi ko, I wont let anyone harm her. Ayoko syang masaktan pati mga mahal nya sa buhay.

I hopped in to my car while dialling a friend's name. Si Francis, classmate koto sa Lasalle. We've been friends since then. Taga NTC to, sure akong matutulungan nya ako para matrace tong taong to.

'bro? Are you free?' I asked him

'dude! Its been ages! Kamusta? Yea, Im free, do you need anything?' Francis asked

'Can we meet? I need your help'

'anything for you Mr. President. So when and where do you want to meet?'

'now if possible. This is an urgent matter. Meet me sa HQ, you know naman the location diba?'

'okay dude. Ill see you there'

Pinatay ko na yung tawag and nakarating ako sa HQ. And I was shocked kasi andun ang mga anak ko. What are they doing here?

Sinabi naman nilang they want to stay here kaya hinayaan ko na. Andito na eh. Magbebehave naman daw sila.

Pumasok ako sa conference room ng HQ and I patiently waited for Francis. Maya maya andito na yun.

After 15 minutes of waiting, Francis came.

'pare, its so good to see you? How have you been? Uy congratulations for being a front runner ah?' he hugged me

'Im good, Im good. Sit down pare. We have something to discuss about. May ipapahanap sana ako' I hugged him back

'basta kaya dude. Ano ba yun? I mean, sino ba ipapahanap mo?' Francis

I opened my phone and showed him the email. Kumunot naman ang noo nya. Mahanap nya kaya yang tao na yan?

'kaya kong itrace to pre, but it'll take some time. There's a possibility na he's using a different server. I have a doubt na tunay yung IP address na ginamit nya. Syempre, threat yan dude. Kaya malamang mag iingat at magtatago yan behind a fake IP address. Medyo mahirap pa naman tong i-crack' sabi nya saken

I sighed. Bakit kasi kelangan pang madamay si Jade? Ako na lang sana eh. And worse, idadamay pa yung malalapit sa kanya.

'sige dude. Let me know kung anong info mahahanap mo about that person. Natatakot ako para sa safety ni Jade'

'you should be get used to that. Public figure ka. So kung sino mang linked sayo, damay. Especially yung fiancee mo.'

Tumahimik na lang ako. Maya maya pa nagpaalam na si Francis kaya nagdecide na din akong umalis ng HQ. Nagbilin lang ako sa staff ko na mamigay ng shirts and tarps kung may supporter na pumunta.
