GingerBrave and his friends looked behind them to see two cookies heading towards them. one had orange hair put up in drills, and the other had purple hair in small pigtails. they were both wearing dirty overalls.
"oh, hello there! who are you guys?" GingerBrave asked.
"that doesn't matter right now! why are you touching my crops?" the orange-haired one said.
"look, we were hungry. we haven't really eaten anything in a while..." Strawberry said.
"well, hands off! i put my blood and sweat into growing these carrots."
"oh, then... you must be Carrot!" GingerBright said.
"that's right!"
"i'm Beet! i started working with Carrot ever since my pet tried eating her crops..." said the purple-haired one.
"wait... are you gonna make us start working for you too...?" Skater asked.
"no, no! i'm actually gonna take my vegetables to the city! they'll be pretty useful there" Carrot said.
"then let's start picking them!" GingerBrave said.
the cookies helped take Carrot's crops out of the ground, which consisted of carrots, beets, corn, radishes, lettuce, spinach, and bell peppers. they rinsed the vegetables before putting them in a basket and getting on the nearest train, which would take them to the city.

once they were in the city, they saw many tall buildings and different stores. they thought the view was beautiful. once they got off the train, Carrot and Beet led GingerBrave and his friends to a sandwich shop.
"welcome, everyone! looks like you brought some friends, Carrot!" said the girl behind the counter.
"i found them trying to eat my crops... but i brought more vegetables! this'll surely spice up your sandwiches!" Carrot said.
"thank you so much!"
the girl grabbed most of the vegetables and put them in a fridge in the back. Carrot was confused as to why she didn't grab all of them.
"d-did you not want these ones...?"
"no, no! you should give those to Spinach down the street! you know how she is with vegetables."
"alright!"
Carrot sat down at one of the tables which made the sandwich girl noticed the kids.
"hey, kids! do any of you want a sandwich?" she asked them.
"i could really use a sandwich right now..." Beet said, walking up to the counter.
"yep! i'll let you eat" Carrot said.
Beet made her order and quickly got her sandwich. while she was eating, the sandwich girl walked up to the table where GingerBrave and his friends were sitting and smiled.
"please order something... i'll be happy to make you a train sub, which contains mayo, mustard, tomatoes, turkey, onions, and lettuce!" she said.
"i'll have a train sub!" GingerBright said with excitement.
"so... you must be Sandwich, right?" asked GingerBrave.
"that's my name!" Sandwich replied.
"i'm GingerBrave, and these are my good friends!"
"oh! i can make a brave sandwich just for you, or a victory sandwich (which is literally shaped like a V)!"
"i'll... take a water."
"what!? a water? but... soda has flavor, and you could get water pretty much anywhere!"
"i'll take five waters."
"okay, then..."
"does it cost anything?"
"nope! people shouldn't have to pay for a basic need."
Sandwich went to get five waters from the fridge in the back and handed them to GingerBrave, who gave a water to each of his friends including himself.
"i'll take a water too!" Carrot said.
"here you go!" Sandwich said, giving Carrot a water.
"umm... do you need a water, Beet?" Strawberry asked.
"no, thanks" she responded.
"please have one! we have hella water in the fridge!" Sandwich said, giving Beet a water despite her refusal.
"anyway, we should get going. these veggies are going straight to Spinach!" Carrot announced.
"wait, i'm not even done with my sandwich!" Beet said, panicked.
"you can eat the rest later! we can't be here all day."
"okay..."
"bye, guys! i hope to see you all later!" Sandwich said.
"bye, Sandwich!" GingerBrave said.
once they were outside, Carrot rushed down the street to a small stand where a woman appeared to be selling different types of vegetables.
"veggies! veggies! please come get your veg- oh?" she said when she saw Carrot run up to her and hold out her basket.
"these ones are for you! i gave the others to Sandwich" Carrot said.
"oh...! thank you so much, Carrot! this feels like my birthday!"
"so you've been getting a lot of vegetables today?" GingerBrave asked, interjecting.
"no... but i appreciate receiving them! i'm a huge fan of veggies!"
"it looks like it!" GingerBright commented.
"and who might you be?"
Spinach noticed Strawberry and immediately took a liking to her.
"i'm... Strawberry" Strawberry responded.
"it's good to see you, Strawberry! if you ever feel down, just remember that strawberries are real veggies, and i adore all veggies!"
"thank you, Spinach..."
"now then, you kid've better get going. Beet and i are gonna stay here and help them do some stuff!" Carrot said.
"when did we agree on tha-"
Beet was cut off by Carrot.
"i'm your boss! that means you do as i say!"
"fine..."
"bye, kids! please continue eating veggies!" Spinach called out as they walked away.
"we will! see you guys later!" GingerBrave said.

the kids got on the train once again, and sat down at an empty table. they were the only ones on the train except for a few other people. they had a great time in the city, but had to think about some things.
"guys... don't you think it's weird that nothing bad happened there?" GingerBrave asked his friends.
"yeah, i noticed" GingerBright said.
"it was... happy" Strawberry said.
"and we were happy" Skater said.
"i didn't expect good things to happen at Cookieland and i was right, but... it's weird to see nice things again" GingerBrave said.
"Cookie... land... burn..." Zombie said.
"that's right... i hope Walnut is okay" GingerBright said.
"oh... why did all of those kids have to die...?" Strawberry asked.
"no one really knows. the fire just came out of the blue..." Skater said.
"so... since all of this horrible stuff happened, we better prepare ourselves for the next destination. i have no idea what to expect..." GingerBrave said, slightly scared.
"me neither... but i'm excited to meet more cookies!" GingerBright said.
"...who will probably die" Strawberry said.
GingerBrave looked outside of the train window to see a huge clock tower in the distance. the time read 11:24. after a few seconds of looking at it, his head began to hurt.
"agh...!"
"what's wrong, GingerBrave?" Strawberry asked.
"i... feel weird. i don't know why..."
he looked back outside to see that the sunny sky was now cloudy. the time on the clock tower now read 8:56.
"i think... i feel weird too..."
"what is this...?" Skater asked.
"could it be that clock tower over there?" GingerBright asked.
"it seems like we're heading towards it..." GingerBrave said.
"woah! there's no way it's already 8:56!" Skater shouted.
"i feel gloomy again..." GingerBright said.
after a bit, the train came to a stop and the passengers were allowed to get off. the few other passengers went their separate ways away from the clock tower. when GingerBrave and his friends got off the train, they were met with a group of police officers that were wearing different uniforms from what they were used to. one of them pointed directly at GingerBrave with an angry look on his face.
"there you are! you are under arrest for screwing up the timeline!"
"what!? what do you mean...?"
"you're coming with us."
"GingerBrave!" the rest of the group shouted as he was grabbed by the arms and pulled inside of the first floor of the clock tower. his friends tried running after him, but the other officers prevented them from doing so.
"where are you guys trying to take me?" GingerBrave asked.
"to the Director. you need to be dealt with properly" one of the officers replied.
"but... i-i didn't do anything!"
"we don't care. you're the one who's guilty of a crime."
the officers kept walking GingerBrave by the arms until they all heard someone's voice.
"let him go! please!"
