The battle started, and Zen was the one to make the first move. He used Behemoth Bash on Corvus who was sent across the battlefield. His pink eyes never wavered.

Corvus had taken a decent amount of damage, however he was still standing. He growled in frustration. He obviously wanted to aid his controller.

Fae used Quick Attack on Skliros, figuring since he was the one in control of them all she would target him first. He seemed dangerous enough to her. He was blind, however her Quick Attack was predicted as Skliros smiled when she hit him. He didn't dodge the attack, letting her hit him with the force she got

"Quick Attack, huh? You know, you're way more powerful than your brother." Skliros began. Fae didn't halt her attacks. She shouldn't be listening to such a malicious and manipulative Pokémon.

She let him continue his talk, figuring it was useless to say anything back.

"Being able to use your abilities at will? That's an amazing power. You could use it for so many things rather just helping Pokémon."

That was true, but Fae didn't even care if she had a special power. It was just an excuse to convince her to become something she's not.

"..."

"I know you're thinking about it. I can feel you thinking about it. What trust can you possess with a Pokémon like Eon anyways? He's full of secrets. He isn't telling you everything, Fae."

"Mhm." She responded without paying attention to what he's promised her.

"I could tell you his secrets."

Fae huffed. "You think I'll betray my brother like that? He's been kind enough to help me this far. Unless this secret is something special, then I cannot go against my family." She remarked.

"How noble. However, has your brother ever told you about his visions?" The Darkrai questions with a smirk on his face.

Visions? Fae stared questioningly at her brother. Eon shrugged. He never did tell her.

"No, but that doesn't matter. If he has some special power that's alright. That's an ability right? He has an extra move, I know that." She remarked.

The Darkrai chuckled.

Fae knew he was trying to trick her. No matter if this was the truth, she told herself to always stay by her brother's side. Unless he was the evil one all along. Fae couldn't imagine that being possible. After all, he was the one who wanted her trained up so she could defend herself.

All he wanted to do was protect her. So she must do the same. Even if he had some secrets, Fae knew he meant well.

"It's more than just an extra move, Fae. He has unfathomable powers that you don't know about. Don't you think you should know about them?" Skliros asked her.

Unfathomable power? Is it even more overpowered than the ability switch I possess? Because that's handy.

Fae didn't know if she deserved to know the truth right now. She and her brother still needed more bonding before they got to that level.

"Right now? No I don't think I need to know about that power. It sounds cool, but Eon has a good reason to keep such a cool ability a secret." Fae remarked. She smiled warmly at her brother. She wouldn't let herself be swayed so easily.

Eon grinned back at her with a paw doing a thumbs up. Fae was glad she had Eon. He was here to help her pick up the missing pieces of her life. She loved Eon so much. As one of the only members of her family left alive, Eon has done so much to help her. He did help her break out of a not-so-friendly home, and offered to help carry her at points in their journey.
