Chapter 13
Day 41
Elsa's p.o.v
It was 7 pm and I had just finished work for the day. I was in my room and I heard a tapping sound on the window and of course, it was Jack.
I opened my window and it revealed Jack hanging of the window ledge, smirking. Seeing him never fails to give me butterflies.
"Hey Snow Queen, wanna go to Café?" a/n Café is the bar in case you didn't remember
"Since Anna is out, probably with Kristoff, then yea"
"Great" Jack smirked
"I'll meet you out side in a minute"
He nodded and flew down to the ground and left my room and went downstairs to meet him outside.
We walked to Café and made small talk on the way there. We sat at the table/boof that Charlie and I would usually it at.
"I'm going to get a drink, want anything?"
"Just water" I replied
"Water? Nah I'll get you a scotch" He smirked, I just rolled my eyes.
Jack returned with drink and as he did, roughly about a 65 year old man walked in but he was soaked from head to toe, the thing was, it wasn't raining outside.
"Wonder why he's drenched"
"I'm going to ask him"
"Jack you can't just ask him like that!" But I was too late; he was already calling the man over.
"Excuse me sir, I know it's none of our business but may I ask why you're wet? No actually sorry it's not my business"
"No son, don't worry, I'll tell ya. Well when my wife and I were young, we made this pact. Once a month we would go to Lake Alfie and run into the lake in our underwear, no extra clothing allowed, but it had to be at night.
We would always do it once a month, no matter how cold the night. My wife past away last year but I would still go into the lake once a month but of course now I go in fully clothed" The man chuckled.
"Wow, that's an amazing story" Jack smiled
"It really is and I'm very sorry for your loss" I said. That story was so adorable.
"Yea so am I" Jack agreed
"Thank you. Yous seem like great kids. And son, Elsa's a great Queen and very beautiful, defiantly a keeper"
"Oh no, we're just friends" Jack and I quickly said together.
The man chuckled "Whatever yous say. Well I must be off to meet my friend over there, see yous"
"Bye"
"Cya"
A band on the stage of the bar started singing "Galway girl" and literally most of the bar got up and started to dance.
"I love this song" Jack said
"So do I"
"Then dance with me" Jack stood up and held out his hand.
"I don't think so" I chuckled
"Aw come on" Jack said jumping up and down
"Nope"
"Pleasee. And I knew right then what's a fella to do, cause her hair was blonde and her eyes were blue" Jack sang, changing the words a bit"
I couldn't help but laugh "Fine" I gave in and Jack took my hand and started dancing with me to the beat of the song, just like the rest of the bar was doing.
"And I gave her a twirl" The band sang and like on cue all the guys twirled the girls around.
For the entire song everyone was dancing like a professional, with their partner.
At the end of the song everyone linked arms in a circle and jumped round and round. Jack and I couldn't stop laughing the entire time, nothing else seemed to matter during that moment.
Jack's p.o.v
3 hours later
Elsa and I stumbled out of the bar, laughing our heads off. Okay, yes we were drunk.
We were continually laughing as we walked down to the bottom of the road and we reached a street. The street had a few parked cars and a couple of houses either side.
"There's nobody out" I laughed
"Yea because it's 3 o'clock in the morning"
"Oh, that might be why"
"So what are you doing until daylight?"
"I'm going to be dancing with you" I smirked and grabbed her by her waist.
"You got it Frost"
Wow she must be as drunk as me, usually I would practically have to beg her to dance with me.
We danced for ages and she danced like a professional all night. The stars were her spotlight and the street became her stage.
"I'm pretty sure about a month ago you said you don't dance. You just danced like a pro"
"I don't dance, I never said I couldn't though" She smirked
It was weird seeing her smirk. Also kinda hot.
"Do you know what's always good to do after dancing?" I took a step closer to Elsa "To make out"
I snaked my hands around her waist and she put hers around my neck. My lips lightly pressed against hers.
"A kiss is all your getting Frost" she laughed
She's just beautiful. How is she still single? I mean, every guy wants her, how has she not fallen in love with one of them yet?
"How have you not been taken by some other guy yet?" I whispered against her lips
Elsa's eyes looked into mine.
"I don't want to fall in love"
My heart stopped. It was like a flow off disappointment rushed through me.
"What?" I slightly shouted and took a step back.
"I don't want to fall in love. Getting married it's just not for me"
"Why?!"
"It's just not who I am"
"But like there must be a reason"
Elsa sat down and the pavement and I followed.
"You see, if you fall in love, there is one thing guaranteed you will get your heart broken. I had my heart broken when my parents died and it really hurts.
It feels like you're suffocating, you can't think or breath and you never really recover. I just don't want to go through that again"
She doesn't want to fall in love?
I know I'm a player and I never really wanted to fall in-love.
But it's too late now.
I can't go a day without talking to her.
I can't go a minute without thinking about her.
I can't just give up now.
"Can I say something Elsa?"
"Sure"
I stood up.
"I know you really don't believe in that stuff, but look at yourself, you're beautiful. And you will eventually fall in love with a guy. So I bet, you will fall in love within a year, no actually, I'll give it a month" I smirked
"A month? You're on frost" Elsa stood up and shook my hand.
"And whoever wins gets to dare the other person something, and the other person has to do it"
"Deal"
The bet is on.
I need her to fall in love with me
It's all I want
To get Elsa Delle to fall in love with me.
