Chapter 15
Elsa's p.o.v

Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street
Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly
Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall
Like the colors in autumn, so bright just before they lose it all

Losing him was blue like I'd never known
Missing him was dark grey all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met
But loving him was red
Loving him was red

Touching him was like realizing all you ever wanted was right there in front of you
Memorizing him was as easy as knowing all the words to your old favorite song
Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer
Regretting him was like wishing you never found out that love could be that strong

Losing him was blue like I'd never known
Missing him was dark grey all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met
But loving him was red
Oh, red
Burning red

Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes
Tell myself it's time now, gotta let go
But moving on from him is impossible
When I still see it all in my head
In burning red
Burning, it was red

Oh, losing him was blue like I'd never known
Missing him was dark grey all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met
'Cause loving him was red
Yeah, yeah, red
We're burning red

And that's why he's spinnin' 'round in my head
Comes back to me, burning red
Yeah, yeah

His love was like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street

I put down the guitar, jumped off the mini stage at the bar and sat down.

"Um excuse me" I heard a deep voice say

I lifted my head and my eyes immediately linked to the bright blue ones that were in front of me.

The eccentric silvery white hair was still messily styled.

He stood as tall as ever and his smirk was still implanted on his lips.

My heart literally skipped a beat.

It can't be him.

I finally snapped out of it and replied "yes"

"You're Elsa Delle aren't you?"

Why does he know my name?

"Yea why? How do you know me?" I stuttered

"Well I see them photos of you modelling for that company, what's it called, ah yes Corona designs. And my boss actually told me about you as well, me and you, we're working with the same record label company" he explained

Oh my god Jack's trying to get a record deal too.

"Yea I'm sorry, I didn't know you were trying to get a record deal too"

"Mind if I sit with you?" He asked

"Um sure"

So the other day I find out he's engaged to somebody else and now I'm talking to him.

I looked back into his eyes, I could tell he's drunk.

He sat down "You were amazing up there by the way"

"Thank you" I said while awkwardly playing with my glass.

His eyes squinted slightly and he started studying me. "I feel like I used to know you. Do I know you?"
