Chapter 4

Jack's P.o.v

I arrived back at Eugene's mothers house at around 12pm, doing my guardian duties seems to be the only thing that keeps me grounded these days.

I locked the door and a few moments later the beauty that is Elsa Delle, opened the door.

"Hey" I said and took down my hood.

She smiled and I entered the house "where's Rachel?" I asked

"I put her to bed. How was it?"

"It was really good, very cold out tonight though" I replied, making small talk.

"I forgot to ask how your tour was"

I sat on the couch "Aw it was amazing Els, you're going to love it when you go, you're going next month aren't you?"

She nodded "Yea I can't wait" she stood awkwardly with her arms folded until she finally decided to take a seat on the couch opposite me.

"You can sleep in the bedroom by the way, I don't mind sleeping on the couch"

"Thanks" she smiled

"Did I miss much while I was away?"

"Nope everything's the same as it was, Merida and Daniel are still together, Rapunzel and Eugene are trying to sort things out, Hiccup's doing great with his job" elsa explained

"What about you?"

"Me? I'm fine"

My eyes locked on hers, I didn't believe that she was fine for a minute. "So what about you and Hic?"

She looked confused "what about us? Like I said before there was never anything between us"

Wow Hiccup mustn't have told her how he feels, last he told me he was in love with her. I was on tour for a while I thought that when I came back they would've been an item already.

"Has he been acting weird around you lately?" I asked

She had to think about it for a moment "now that you mention it he has been acting differently. Do you know why?"

I ran my hand through my hair "I shouldn't be telling you this but before I went on tour Hiccup came to see me. We sorted things out and he told me he was...he was in love with you. I told him that if yous like each other he has my blessing for yous two to be together"

Her face was shocked "Hiccups in love with me?" She stared into space for a while "and you would be okay with us being together?"

"No" I blurted out "No, seeing yous two together would drive me insane. It would give me so much pain, it would destroy me"

"Well then why did you give him your blessing?" She raised her voice

"Because I want you to be happy"

"You make me happy!"

I stood up "but I make you miserable too!"

"You make me the happiest and the saddest person, that's when it's real, that's when it's worth something!" She exclaimed

I stared at her perfect face for a while "Here's a tip for you. You do no fall in love with people like me. I will take you to museums and parks and monuments, and kiss you in every beautiful place so you can never go back to them without tasting me like blood in your mouth. I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible, and then I will leave you because that's what I do"

No words came out of her mouth, she simply got up, walked into the bedroom and shut the door.

Aggghhh! I can't do this anymore, all I want to do is scream!
