Chapter 11

I woke up in the pool with Aqua next to me and Henry passed out on the chair next to the pool. When I started to move my tail around Aqua woke up. " We survived "she joked I giggled. I tapped Henry's hand and he woke up when he saw me he smiled.

It was at least 8:30 in the morning. Aqua started to pulled herself out of the water and so did I. We got on the grass and Aquas tail started to smoke I looked strangely at her. "What you haven't learned what your powers are?" I shook my head.

"Well you haven't mastered what I just at did so we will have to hand dry you" she said looking at Henry. By now Aqua already had her legs. "Henry can you go get some towels and I will get a few things to practice your powers on. Henry and Aqua started to run off.

Aquas point of view
I went inside the house and grabbed a banana, brushed my teeth and hair, and put my hair into a high pony tail. Then I grabbed a pitcher full of water and a few apples.

Henry's point of view
I grabbed some towels out of Lindsey's garage and went to my house to clean up. After that I went back to the deck and I saw Justin, I sort of panicked just because I don't know Lindsey is like down by the pool in full mermaid form!

Then I saw Aqua coming out of the house. She stopped and I could tell she sort of panicked too. "Hey guys... What the why are you carrying all this stuff." "umm" I said "uhh..we are doing a project!" Aqua bursts out. I nodded my head.

"Anything I can do?" "Uh nope we got it all under control" Just then behind Justin I could see below Lindsey moving with her tail trying to get her bag that was on a chair. I could see Aqua saw it to. The Justin started to turn around. Aqua and I both yelled "noo " "what" he said turning back." "um actually there is something you can do, go to the hardware store and get 6 big buckets." Aqua said\

"um okay" then Aqua pushed him away. I ran down the steps while Aqua got rid of him. Lindsey was laying on the grass with her tail and she was on her phone. When I saw her I chuckled then she turned around. "What?" She said "nothing" I said still chuckling. I wrapped the towel around her and helped her dry her tail. When her legs appeared she was really close to me.

"Thanks for helping me" she said softly. She was looking straight into my eyes and I was looking into her beautiful deep blue eyes. Then she leaned in and kissed my lips. "Uh ahem" Aqua coughed and we pulled away. "Sorry to ruin the moment guys but we should get to work before Justin comes back."

Lindsey's point of view
I can't believe I kissed him! I mean I guess I've always had a little crush on him but that's all. Aqua was holding fruit and a pitcher. She laid everything on the ground. I picked up one of the apples and started to eat it cause I was really hungry.

"Okay so first we need to figure out what powers you have" Aqua said. She set an apple on the table in front of me. "Okay so hold up your hand and focus on the apple." I studied the apple it started to float in the air. I pulled my hand away and it dropped. "Okay so try again" Aqua said. I studied the apple again this time it froze then I studied harder and the ice on apple melted.

"Wow you got all three powers at the same time." "Ooo levitate me" said Henry giggled. "I'll try" I said. I lifted my hand and focused on him I stared in to his deep brown eyes and he started to float but he only got a foot of the ground before I set him down. "I can't lift you any further " I said. "You must have lots and lots of practice." Aqua said.

I tried a lot of different tricks and Aqua taught me how to used them properly. Later Justin brought 6 buckets by who knows why and Aqua made me practice with them. She laid the buckets upside down on the grass.

"Okay here is your final task levitate these buckets and make a pyramid with them." I nodded my head. Henry was sitting in a chair watching. I rose my hand the first bucket started to float and I moved it on top of the three buckets that were the base. Then it was time for the last one. Once I put it on top Aqua and Henry clapped.

Then Aqua set an apple on the floor"now you have to put this on the top of the pyramid ." It was pretty high up but I could manage.I rose my hand and the apple floated to the top. Aqua and Henry clapped again. I smiled.

Just then Justin came down from the steps. "What are you guys doing." all our smiles faded. "uh.. this is our project" Aqua said "it took you four hours to do this." "uh yeah?" Said Henry. "Okay seriously what's going on" he said angrily "nothing" I said. Then he angrily stormed off. I felt really bad that we were lying to him he deserves the right to know.

"Guys we need to tell him" I said. "no way 2 people already know this is supposed to be a secret." Kaitlyn came down the steps "What's with Justin, I have been calling you forever." she said. "Oh I'm sorry I had my phone turned off." "That's not like you to not be on your phone." she said. "oh yeah I have been dealing with mermaid stuff all day like practicing magic."

"oooo let me see." After I showed Kaitlyn my magic we all went inside and watched movies it was pretty late and it was dark so then we all wanted to go in my pool. So the girls and I got our bikinis on and Henry just kept his shorts on. We all ran down to the pool Kaitlyn sat on the steps and Aqua and I sat on the grass.

"Aqua Lindsey come here" Henry said. "What? " We both asked. we walked over to the edge of the pool and Henry walked behind us"what did you wa-" Henry pushed us both in. When we rose up our tails formed and Henry and Kaitlyn started to laugh. We looked at each other and we rose our hands and floated him above the pool and dropped him in. He came up and said"I guess I deserved that" we all laughed. "Don't mess with mermaids!!" Aqua and I shouted.
