Chapter 50

Lindsey's pov
I dropped my phone, "no" I said quietly. Alex came up behind me "Lindsey what's wrong?" Alex asked. "Everything" I said quietly.

My mind raced I could not take this anymore. A tear ran down my cheek. "Lindsey what's going on, who was that?! Where's Henry!?" She yelled. "Guys what's going on?" Chandler asked. I turned around to face Alex, I ran my fingers through my tangled hair and started to cry. Alex brought me into a hug and I cried.

"Lindsey tell us" he whispered into my ear. "Amber has Henry and she is going to kill him" I said. "God!!" I said hitting the wall. "No no no!" I said as I kept stomping my foot. "Lindsey!" Alex said with a tear on his cheek. "Whoa what!!!! Who is Amber!" Said Chandler.

He hugged me and our noses meet, a tear rolled down my cheek and meet with Alex's. Our tears turned into one and fell to the ground.  Aqua and lily were hugging and crying.

"Carter called me and told me this and that Jacks birthday party is tomorrow and we need to be there" I said.  "That was Carter!?" Aqua said crying. I nodded and looked at Alex.

"When will this ever end" I said with hot tears falling.

We immediately packed our stuff for a couple of nights. We went to the airport and got on a plane. I sat next to Aqua instead of Alex because Aqua made me.When we started to take off I texted Carter to not tell Jack I did not want to ruin his night.

We finally got there and it was 5:45, we would be a little late. Chandler, Liam, and Brandon said they would meet us there.

I got out my keys and opened the door of my house. I watched the door opened and I stared into the house. I walked inside, the house was fairly clean I set my things down and stared at the hole in the wall which was now covered with tape. Alex was staring at it too. "Okay I'm going to go get ready" I said.

"Alex you will have be in my bedroom because there are no bedrooms left" I said. "Um no Lindsey he can have my bedroom I can be in you bedroom" she said shaking her head. I flashed a tiny smile at her.

I picked out my nudeish colored dress that has Ruffles on the left shoulder. I curled my hair and put in my pearls and with my nude high heels. I walked out and saw Alex in a black and white suit.

Alex looked at me up and down, I gulped trying to keep myself from kissing him. Once everyone was ready we went to the address.

The place it was at was by the ocean and by a big forest that lead to a cliff that had scary sharp rocks at the bottom, several deaths had been taken place there I had heard.

We got out of the car and headed into the music booming building. Everyone searched the crowd for Carter. On my way I grabbed a couple of Jell-O shots that were on tables. I saw Jack and I ran to him, "Happy Birthday bro!!!" I said. "Lindsey you came i thought with all the Carter drama you would come-" he said.

"Hey I'm here aren't I?" I said and forced a smile. "Hey I have to go look for..Aqua but I will catch up with you" I said through the music. He nodded and I continued to search the crowd.

I found Carter standing by a table with his hands in his pocket looking around. The crowd was separated which made a hall way sort of thing, I was at the bottom and Carter was at the top.

He saw me and I stiffened, he walked towards me "Lindsey" he said as he looked at me. I looked at him and swallowed a lump on my throat. Alex and everyone else came behind me.

I had a straight face on, I could tell Alex was clenching his fists. "Who's this?" Carter said grinding his teeth together.

"This is Alex and this is Carson" I said "Alex and Carson this is Carter my..ex-boyfriend" I said.

"Where is Amber!" I said changing the subject. "I have no clue!" Carter said. Alex took my hand " come on! Let's go outside" he said. Carter was staring at my hand and Alex's hand. I ran out with everyone and Carter followed behind.

The cool air filled my skin as we ran outside. I pulled out my phone, "what are you doing? This is no time to take an Instagram picture!" Caroline said.

"No no no I'm calling Amber" I said. Silence filled the night as I waited for Amber to pick up. "Hey Lindsey! I was wondering when you were going to call" she said, my body stiffened. "Where's Henry?" I said.

"Hmm Henry? Doesn't ring a bell" she said laughing. "You know who I'm talking about!" I said griding my teeth. "Ugh whatever! He's right here and if you don't get here in 3 minutes he dies!" She said. "Where are you?!" I said.

"On top of the cliff, be there" she said. I turned around to the ginormous cliff Amber hung up and I dropped my phone. "Guys we have to go now!!" I said. "Amber is holding him on top of the cliff!" I said.

"What?!" Everyone chimed. "Chandler,Liam, and Brandon you guys stay here if we need help!" I said as the wind started to pick up. It looked like it was going to rain so we needed to move fast.

Everyone started to run through the forest and claiming the hill. We ran so fast, I stopped to take my heels off and keep running. It was really muddy and my dress got splattered on but I didn't care if we weren't there in 3 min Henry was going to die.

We finally reached the cliff and everyone stopped in their tracks to see Amber turn around with Henry in her arms with a gun pointed at the side of cheek.

"Look who showed up" she mocked. "Come on Amber we are here now give him up" I said.

"Ha you really think you could just show up and get him back! Yeah no see I want to trade your life for his life!" She said.

"What Lindsey no!!" Alex said "fine" I said. I already knew that she couldn't kill me but she didn't know that I thought to myself.

I walked towards her and she threw Henry on the ground with some magic. "How do you have magic?!" I asked. I looked at Carter and he stared at me blankly. "She's a mermaid!!! How!!? You never told me!!!" I said.

Amber grabbed me and put the gun to my head. "Yup I'm a mermaid but it doesn't matter does it? Because you are going to die anyway" she said. "Say goodbye!" She said. I looked at Alex and he had tears in his cheeks. She clicked it back "not today!" I said.

I used my magic and flipped her over and pinned her to the ground. Henry stood up, Amber smiled, "why are you smiling?" I asked.

"Because you forgot one tiny thing" she said. I looked up at the gun in her hand. She stretched out her hand and pointed the gun at Henry. She pulled the trigger and the bullet hit Henry's stomach. "Nooo!!!" I said I stretched out my hands but he was to close the the edge. He stumbled back and fell.

My eyes widened "NOOOOOOOO!" Lily screamed as she fell to the ground. My eyes filled with hot tears. Aqua screamed and fell to the ground. I stared at the edge of the cliff as tears poured down my face. I stood up and cried. Amber smirked, I grabbed her neck, "YOU KILLED HIM!!!" I screamed. But I let her go and I scrapped my hands against the mud.

The world thundered and the rain fell. Amber turned and everyone else did but they didn't stop crying. But everyone else had turned I still hadn't. I stood up and felt the rain I looked around and saw Alex stand up too and he was feeling the rain. My eyes widened, I ran to him and kissed him as tears streamed down my face.

Lily was screaming "lily what's wrong" I said. "The.. The baby its coming!!" She said half crying. I stood up and my eyes got red and puffy from rubbing them. "Alex we need to get back down to the building and then we need to get to a hospital NOW!!!!!!!" I said crying and sniffling.
