Chapter 42

Lindsey's pov
The white car door opened and out stepped Kaitlyn, "Lindsey!!" She yelled and hugged me. She hugged everyone else. "How are you?" She asked "um I'm okay" I said. "So where is Justin i want to say hi to him" there was a moment of pause. "Kaitlyn I think you should come inside, there is a lot of things you missed" I said as I choked back my tears. I led her inside and we all gathered around. "Kaitlyn Justin is...dead" I felt a single tear slid down my cheek and wiped it away quickly. She didn't say anything for a while but we explained everything to her. By then it was late and everyone was tired but Kaitlyn wasn't she talked about her trip nonstop and it sounded so cool. Everyone went to bed and Kaitlyn looked like she wanted to tell me something. "Lindsey there is something I need to tell you, my mom has absolutely loved it in Paris and I really have loved it to and she found a job and she wants me to live there" she said. "Kaitlyn your going to moved there?" She nodded her head.

After processing the idea I finally said something "Kaitlyn I think you need to do this" I said. She nodded her head " I'm leaving tomorrow" she said quietly "tomorrow but you just got here!" I said "I know but my mom really wants to go and...I'm sorry Lindsey bring this on you like that I had no idea you went through all that" she said I hugged her and she hugged me. I was really tired so I snuck upstairs to Carters room.

I opened the door and he sat up. He's so cute when he is sleepy. I closed the door softly and got under the covers with him. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. I kept thinking about Kaitlyn but soon sleep took over my body.

Carter pov
I woke up to the sun streaming in and my arms wrapped around Lindsey. I sat up and she slowly woke up as well. I kissed her warm lips but then we got a little rough I was on top of her now and kissing her lips she giggled and squirmed. Then we heard a knock "wakey wakey" Kaitlyn said opening the door. "Oh wow um I'm sorry" I jumped off Lindsey and her face was red mostly from embarrassment and me kissing her she was in her lace black bra so she had the covers pulled over her. I was shirtless but Kaitlyn didn't seem to mind. "I didn't know you guys were a thing" she said leaning on the door knob. Lindsey buried her face into the sheets. She is so cute. Ok well breakfast is ready when you guys want it she said shutting the door.

Once she was gone I went right back to kissing Lindsey but she pulled away. "Come on we have to get up" she said in a cute voice. She stood up and looked in my dresser mirror. I walked to her and wrapped my arms around her and kissed her. Then I moved my hands to her bra clip. I unclipped it and she laughed in embarrassment "Carter!" She said trying to put it back on. I smiled and put it back on for her.

We both went down for breakfast and everyone just stared. "What?" I asked then they all snapped out of it and continued to cut their pancakes.

Lindsey's pov
I sat down next to Carter and ate my pancakes. Jack was the first one done "I'm going for a swim!" He said closing the back door. "So I guess you guys had a little slumber party of your own" Aqua said putting a piece of pancake into her mouth. I blushed and Carter looked at me and smiled. "You guys are so cute!" Said Kaitlyn. Carter grabbed me out of my chair and set me on his lap "we are aren't we" he said grinning. I laughed and so did Aqua and Kaitlyn. I noticed Henry wasn't at the table. "Where's Henry?" They all shrugged. I got up from Carters lap and walked upstairs.

I knocked on the door, no answer I opened the door and walked in, it was dark,I walked into a what looked like a spiders web. It was I screamed and everyone came running. The lights turned on and there was Henry was on the floor laughing and so was everyone else. It was a fake spider and web. I rolled my eyes and went to get dressed.

Kaitlyn had to leave so we all went outside and hugged her and waved goodbye. It had been a couple of hours and everyone was basically having a lazy day. I was laying on my bed doing homework when it hit me. I got off my bed and everyone was watching TV. "Guys where is Jack?" I looked at their blank faces. "He said he was going for a swim" said Henry "yeah but that was 4 hours ago" I walked out side and they followed. "Something isn't right, I can sense it" I ran to the water and dove in, I heard splashes behind me.

I swam to the kingdom only to see 4 mermaids but one was a merman. The kingdom was destroyed, I stopped on my tracks. "Oh my god" I heard Henry say. We swam closer "ah Lindsey finally you are here I was getting bored." I heard a familiar voice say. It was Percy!

"What are you doing we had a deal" I said "yes but this does not apply to that see you said that you would expose me if I expose you and I am not doing that" he said. There were 3 girls around him holding my brother. "Just let him go" I said "um see no because that wouldn't be any fun" he snickered. "Oh I'm so rude this is my sister he pointed to the short brown haired girl with a red gold tail this is Anastasia and these are her friends Caroline and Lily. Caroline had shoulder length orange and brownish hair and she had a royal blue tail. Lily had a little longer hair than Caroline's hair but her hair was blonde and she was a shimmery white tail. They looked like nice girls except they were Percy's minions.

"Give me my brother" I said "hmm first you have to get me the ring and then I will give you your brother." "What ring and why should I give it to you" I asked " you will find the ring and because we are exactly alike" I narrowed my eyes on him " we are nothing alike." "Ah see there is where your wrong, we both have dark magic" my eyes widened. "Have you ever noticed that no one else has the same color tail as you except me. My tail was greenish bluish and so was Percy's. "You have 24 hours to get me the ring or he dies it's as simple as that" then he flashed away.
