Chapter 33

Lindsey's pov

"Oh my god Justin you're turning into a fish!!" We all said. He looked at us like we were crazy. "What!!" He said then suddenly he for some reason turned back to rummaging through the kitchen looking for fish.

"Aqua, how are we going to get him back?" She was still shocked. "Honestly I have no idea, we don't even know what caused this!!" She said. She snapped her fingers "I got it, you must have put too much of something in the potion to turn him into a mermaid." Aqua said I ruffled my fingers through my long hair. "Of coarse I did." I mumbled.

"Ok well what do we do to turn him back?" I asked. Aqua shrugged but we need to get down to the chamber. We started to head towards the door. Aqua grabbed Justin. I walked outside it was really dark, then it started pouring rain. Everyone else was still in the house. It was cold wet rain. I fell to the ground "nice" I said sarcastically while slapping the ground. Aqua grabbed a towel and pulled me inside. Henry was watching Justin while Aqua dried me off. If all of us had walked out there we would have all turned into mermaids and mermen of coarse.

We were pacing in the living room "how are we going to get down to the chamber if it's pouring outside?" I asked. "Don't ask us" they all said. Justin was turning gray by the minute and he was acting like a fish more and more. "hmm" I said. "wait we just need to find another entrance" Aquas eyes widened. "Good idea" she said "okay look for another entrance there has got to be another entrance." We all started to look. I looked in my bedroom and Aquas, nothing. I walked down the hallway by the big bookcase entry. I past the bookcase entry then I backed up and looked at the bookcase entry. I looked at it hard, then I realized it really wasn't one bookcase there was a line in between it and it wasn't completely touching the floor it was literally floating in the air, which would only mean one thing, these bookcases move.

I could only think of ways from the movies that would make the bookcases move. I tried pulling it open then I tried pulling the books to trigger it. I tried most of the books but nothing. I sat on the ground thinking. I glance over at the side bookshelf, one caught my eye. It had golden writing on it. It said, The Book Of Mermaids. I slightly pulled it, then I heard a spring and the bookcases spit and slid open. "Guys I found it!!" They came running. "Where is Justin" Henry ran back to get him.

It looked exactly like what it's like I the first entrance, really lit up and rock walls. I walked down the short tunnel. There was a wall, I was confused. "dead end?" I asked. Aqua hit the wall with her hand. I put my hand against it but instead of it landing on the rock it went through the entrance and so do my entire body. I fell through. it lead right where the main room is. I looked for something to open the door to let everyone in. I kept looking at the shell right by the door. I tried to take it off the wall but it didn't budge. I realized there were hinges on the shell. so I lifted it up and there was a blue button. I pressed it and the entrance opened. "Hey why didn't it work on us" Aqua asked "maybe because my dad built the chamber and it was only for family." "hey I actually am family we are related" she said back I laughed.

We ran over to the potion table. then I let Aqua do her stuff she went trough some books. Then she finally found something, "Okay I found it, but it will take away your powers." "Do it"Justin said. She turned back to her potion."Okay here goes" she poured the potion into a glass and handed it to Justin. he drank it and got a sick look on his face. then his scales began to disappear and he look back to normal. "ah finally it's good not being a fish" "hey"Aqua and I said. But he laughed and so did we.
