Chapter 35

Lindsey's pov

I was bawling my eyes out, I couldn't believe I had a brother. I was mostly upset that my parents never told me, but I was also happy that I had someone else. I heard footsteps, so I quickly wiped away my tears, I was trying to stop crying but I couldn't. It was Aqua, "Lindsey whats the matter" she asked, I held up the book. She took it and looked at the name, she looked confused. "Lindsey, You have a brother!?" I started to cry really loudly, she opened her arms and she hugged me.

I had no idea of how I was going to tell Jack that he was my brother. I thought about maybe I shouldn't tell him, but then I thought if he would find out in the future then he would be mad at me.

I told Aqua the whole story of how I saved him and that we meet. "Lindsey, you have to tell him" " I can't, I can't just go up to him and tell him he is my brother" "well how else is he going to know" Aqua said.

I really needed to rest I was tired and I just wanted to lay in my bed. After like 2 hours I got up and went downstairs. Guess who I saw sitting in my living room. It was Jack sitting across from Aqua. "Hey" I said in a suspicious tone, Aqua walked over to me "will you excuse us for just a minute" she said to Jack. She pulled me into the hallway. "What do you think you are doing?" I asked "you have to tell him Lindsey he deserves to know" she said. There was a pause "fine" I said. We both walked back into the living room. "So Jack there is something Lindsey needs to tell you" Aqua said. I glared at her, "so um Jack do you remember what is your sisters name is?" There was a pause. "No I don't remember her name, I wish I did" he said. "well this isn't easy to say......but.....I.....am..your........sister" I said.

I almost passed out again. I could see the shock running through him. "What...how...why" he said."this can't be true" he said. "it is true I have proof" I said, I started to tear up and so did he. He opened his arms and said "your my sister" we both hugged and talked for a long time. I told him about Aqua and Henry and Justin and how I saved him. I basically caught him up on my life. I really wanted to ask if he was a merman or not but I didn't have the guts. "Lindsey can I talk to you in private" he said as we walked over to the other side of the room. "so are you a....mermaid" he said whispering. I smiled "I don't know are you" I said "yes I am a merman" "I am a mermaid so is Aqua and so is my other friend Henry"i said. we both smiled "Aqua, he is a merman" I yelled across the room.

"Wait a second you can't be you fell into the water and you didn't have a tail" he smiled. He pointed at a cool bracelet on his wrist. "I don't get it it's just a bracelet" I said "ahh it is a bracelet but it has the power to not make your tail appear when you get wet" he said "wow" I said amazed.

We heard the door shut, it was Justin and Henry. They stopped in there tracks when they saw Jack. "I can't believe this, you're cheated on me?" Justin yelled. "Justin it's not what you-" "no I can't believe this we have been dating for almost a week and you are already cheating on me?!" "Justin he's not my-" "save it!" "Justin!!" "What" "this is my brother, Jack". "ohhh" he said "wait Brother!!!? You don't have a brother!!?" They both said. "I actually do" I said.

I explained everything to them "so yeah Jack this is Justin my boyfriend and this is Henry my ex but we are still friends" Jack smiled.

I still couldn't believe I had a brother. I was so happy that day. The rest of the night we talked,laughed, and got to know each

Later everyone went to sleep but I was still up. I heard a knock on the back door. I opened the door and there she was standing there. Serena "Hello Lindsey, missed me?"
