Chapter 24

Lindsey's pov

I have been in my bedroom for the past 2 days locked in. Every day my friends knock on my door and sometimes yell at me or try and knock the door down. I haven't had anything to eat except water from my sink in my bathroom. I don't know what to do I have lost all my family. You don't go through something like that without a reason. But I don't know the reason.

Aquas pov

I have tried everything to get Lindsey out of her bedroom. I know this is really hard for Lindsey I mean she has lost her whole family. Friends from school and other family have sent cards and gifts. I really don't know how she is holding up in there.

Henrys pov

Me and Aqua have tried everything to get her out of her bedroom. I miss seeing her beautiful face and kissing her on the lips. I feel so bad for her. Her house is a mess there is cards, packages, and a bunch of other crap. We thought about opening the letters and gifts but we thought maybe Lindsey would want to open them herself.

Lindsey's pov

I decided I needed to leave my room I have gotten out everything that I needed. I had been writing in this notebook about my feelings and what I remember about my mom, I finished the entire notebook. Once I finished I thought it was time to see everyone and figure out what I'm going to do. I put on a clean t-shirt and some nike shorts, put socks on, and put my hair up into a ponytail.

I unlocked my door and opened it, it sure did get everyone's attention because I made one noise and they are all crowded around me. I move past them pretending I don't see them. I grab a mug from the cabinet and start to make my coffee. "Lindsey we are all so sor-" Aqua starts to say but I cut her off "no you guys don't need to be sorry and I really don't want to her about all your pity okay?" I said harshly. They all nodded "I'm sorry guys" "Lindsey it's okay we know what you're going through" Justin says I smile. I made my way to the counter.

"What is all this" "letter, packages, flowers all from friends and family."said Henry I nodded and sipped my coffee. "Look, Lindsey you really need to make some decisions and changes." said Kaitlyn "I know, I know that I know have to take care of myself from now on, I know that I have to read through paperwork and my moms will." I said calmly. "We..uh got a call from your aunt" Aqua said I put down my coffee and gulped "and what did she want".

"She wants you to move to Texas with her". "Look I know she wants that she has always wanted that I just need to go through some things in the house and I will get back to her." I said. They all nodded, I walked back to my moms office I stopped in the doorway and took a deep breathe. Everyone followed into the office.

I sat down in the big chair that smelt like my mothers perfume. I paused when I sat down but brought myself together. Kaitlyn, Henry, Justin, and Aqua came into the room and sat in the chairs in front of the desk, usually for business. I looked at something's on her desk she had a picture of my dad, her, and I.

I quickly snapped out of it. Kaitlyn rose up from her vague and sat at the edge of the desk and helped me look. "Hmmm" Kaitlyn said looking through some files. "What?" I said grabbing the folder I scrolled through it with my eyes. "Are these bills?" "I mean these were due 1 month ago" Kaitlyn said I looked up. "We need to find that will" Kaitlyn nodded eagerly. I opened one of the desk drawers there was like a little file cabinet it had all these different files lined up, they each had their own label.

I looked through them, a lot were bank stuff that I was going to have to look at I finally found a folder that was labeled "Lindsey" I big bold words with bright pink highlighter. It was like she wanted me to find this and she had it all planned out.
