Chapter 44

Lindsey's pov
A week later

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, I quickly switched it off and got up. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair. I was feeling spontaneous today so I straightened my hair, I usually don't because my hair is naturally long and wavy. I also put a little makeup on, I picked out a cute tank top and some sorts. I put on my sandals and walked to my dresser. I looked at the ring sitting on the dresser. It had no magic anymore   but it was really pretty so I decided to wear it.

I have been keeping control of my powers for a while and I think I have mastered them. Prom and Graduation is coming up and I don't want anything to ruin it.

I walked into the kitchen and Carter and Henry were eating breakfast. "The girls still not up yet?" "Nope" they said "there're gonna be late" I said pouring my cereal in a bowl. I sat next to Carter and he gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Ugh get a room!" Henry said and we both laughed "if you insist!" Carter said "Carter!  I said smiling. " you look pretty today!" I smiled. Carter and I were getting really close now and it's been really great.

Anastasia, Caroline, and lily are living with us now and they are so nice and funny. We finally hear giggly voices coming down the stairs. "Here they are!" Henry said. Aqua came out also. "Guys we are going to be late!" I said. I got into my car with Carter and Anastasia and Caroline while Lily and Aqua rode with Henry. I think Lily likes Henry so I put them in a car together. Jack had to leave early because of some college thing.

We road to school and parked. I got out and Carter and I held hands while walking inside school. Caroline met up with her"friend" Candler I honestly think they have a thing for each other. Anastasia on the other hand likes this guys named Liam but he doesn't even know she exists. I was so going to change that! "Hey do you think you can talk to Liam and see who he is taking for prom or at least who he likes." I said " I will try" he said and I smiled. He walked me to my locker and then when I thought no thing was going to ruin these last few days in high school I was wrong.

"Hello Lindsey!, oh and you brought your boyfriend, he's a good pick you have very good tastes!" Amber said in a super annoying sassy tone. I turned around "Amber, I thought you were in Europe" I said in an annoying tone. "Well I have to come back and steal your boyfriend, so watch your back" she said while walking away. I started to pull up my hand but Carter quickly stopped me "Lindsey" he said "she won't steal me, you know that" he said and I slammed my locker " you don't know what she's capable of so watch your back Carter" I said walking to my first class.

3 hours later

I walked to the janitors closet as usual during my free period. I went in and shut the door quietly. Carter was sitting on the ground waiting for me. "I'm sorry Carter about before-" I said as he stood up and ran up and started to kiss me. We usually meet in the janitors closet just to make out. He pinned me against the wall and started to kiss my neck and he pulled off his shirt and I pulled off mine. Blah blah blah.

I finally put my my clothes back on, with Carter watching me. I walked out and went to my next class.

End of school

I walked out of school and got in my car and waited for Carter. He finally came and I gave him a kiss but he wanted another one. I drove home and we both got our swim suits on to go for a swim. I ran out and Carter followed me, he grabbed my waist and tree me over his shoulder. I laughed as he put me down and chased me. He finally got me and pulled me closed to him. " give me a kiss" he said I shook my head playfully and held my lips together. He kissed me and I kissed him to. I wrapped my hands around his waist and he did the same thing to me. "I can't believe we are graduating in 2 days" I said and prom was tomorrow. Of coarse Carter and I were going together. I pulled away "race you" I said running toward the ocean and I dove in.
