TAEHYUNG

"The family of the heart donor, backed away" Dr. Choi sadly announced when he went out his office.

Series of groans of frustration and sadness fills the thin air around the room.

"But we will not going to give up to find another donor" Dr. Choi tries to lighten the atmosphere up. "I have connections on the other hospital around the Korea, Dr. Baek from Busan says there's a compatible heart donor there and he's still pursuing the family for donation of their brain-dead patient" he continued, that somehow gaves hope on us.

No one of us muttered any single word as we keep the silence between all of us. Siwon who partially patted my shoulder to not lose hope.

"We're not giving up on her" Dr. Choi says to me, that I appreciated a lot.

"Thank you Siwon-ssi" I sincerely says to him, he flashed a small smile before he excuse his self.

"I'll see you all around" he bids a goodbye as he walks  away. Leaving us in comfortable silence.

"What will you do now?" Jennie ask, sadness on her voice is evident, Jin Hyung, Irene Noona sitting across the seat, staring intently.

"Everything" I answered, mind was lost in the moment, thinking for all the certain things. "Everything that will save Jisoo, if I have to kneel and beg the family... I will" I added

"Taehyung don't say anything like that" Namjoon Hyung who sit, along with the others on the other side of the table, spoke. "I'm not saying that it was a careless decision, but you were an idol and—"

"It's not Hyung." I cuts him, Joon hyung sigh and about to spoke again but nothing came out from his mouth. "I don't care about my career, fuck that popularity and reputation" I said in dismay on how my life stand now.

"Jisoo matters the most ,I will do everything for her, If it happen that I need to sacrifice my own heart, my own life to make her still alive, Hyung I will"  my eyes get watery when I say those words.

"Tae..." Jennie who is on verge of crying mumbled, as her tears falls.

"I love her" I emotionally whispered but enough for them to hear. I brushed my palms on my face to hide my tears. "I love her so much to the point that I can't picture myself in the future, to the point that I can't imagine myself living in this world without her by I, and Adiel's side." The finalty in my voice is whole.

"I just.." I mumbled and swallowed the lump on my throat "I just can't live without her, I can't let her go just like that" I added.

"Is that wrong?" I glance at them with tearful eye.

"No"

"Ofcourse not"

One looks away to wipe her tears

One doesn't muttered any word, but hope filled his eyes.

One who nods a no and gaves a small force sad smile.

I didn't open my mouth again as we all silently shred hopeful tears.

Praying and hoping continusely that one day everything will be alright....

But destiny is playful between the both of us, three days before our awaited wedding,  the thing I've feared in life happened.

With my trembling  lips, I used to stare at her unconsciously lying figure on the cold tile, my knees wobbles and I barely feel my weak feet as I stand.

"J-jisoo" my voice shakened, the moment the bathroom door opened and her pale fragile body met my eyesight, unconscious, unmoving and barely breathing.

"Love!" I dropped on my knees as I place her on my lap, removing some strands of her dark locks away from her face, "Soo... honey, Jisoo, love wake up" I said through my gritted teeth preventing myself to sob.
