It had been a week since the ball and Aurora still hadn't called Aaron.

So he found her.

She was at the bar right across from his apartment so when he said he "found her" he really meant he "was walking into the bar and just saw her sat at the counter"

He took a seat next to her and she pretended that she didn't see him and continued to drink her whiskey- neat, of course, trying to not make eye contact with the stern man who sat so comfortably next to her.

"Oh, hello Aurora" he said with a fake tone of surprise lacing his voice "agent Hotchner" she said mimicking the tone of his voice in acknowledgement "what are you doing here? Stalking me?"

"To be honest I should ask you the same thing Miss Angelle. You are the one who is drinking in the bar opposite the place I live" Aaron said with a chuckle in his voice "god knows you have the means to stalk me"

"It's funny you say that actually, you're drinking in the bar closest to my house - that's strange isn't it?" She said with a small smile grazing her features "and I've never seen you here before, I would have noticed surely"

"I suppose so" were the last words spoken between the two for quite some time.

"So where is it that you live?" Aaron asked quietly not wanting to pressurise Rori in any way.

"I live in the estate a few minutes down the roa-" she started before he cut her off "the gated community? With the mansion? Jesus how much are they paying you at Interpol?"

Aurora just laughed before saying "it was Angelle blood money I didn't buy it."

"Don't tell Morgan that, he will tell you how using 'daddy's money' won't get you places in life" Aaron said quietly earning a smile from Rori

"I didn't want it you know - I wanted to work for what I earned and I still never got that luxury" she said quietly. She didn't want him to judge her or like her any less, she wanted normality.

"What's your middle name?" He asked trying to break the ice

"It's Love-Marie, Marie for my grandmother and love because my parents couldn't choose between love and Aurora. Dare I ask what yours is?"

"It's Christopher. It doesn't have a cool story like yours. It just is"

"I like it. Aaron Christopher Hotchner. It has a nice ring to it" she said with a sweet smile.

Aaron couldn't help but run his eyes along every inch of her body and memorise the way it moved in that moment. The dress she was wearing bunched at her legs because of the way she sat, her hair which was curled and looked as though she had spent hours on it, the way her eyelashes fluttered and opened to reveal her gorgeous green eyes. But most importantly he memorised her lips, their plump and soft skin that moved and stretched each time she smiled at him. He couldn't help but want them on his skin, want her hands in his hair and want her voice calling for his name as he fucked her senseless.

"You're staring Hotchner" she said with her silky smooth voice cutting through the tense air "I was just thinking you bear a striking resemblance to Audrey Hepburn or Angelina Jolie. You look like their love child"

"Get out! You can't be serious! Really you believe that? Wow!" Her face showed traces of the utmost happiness and she looked overjoyed. "Though I can't help but notice that ring on your finger. Is that a purity ring?" His words cut through her happiness and her face flushed

"Yes. It was my dads idea really, I'm his princess and he didn't want me 'giving up my worth' to the first guy I set my eyes on' she said quietly staring at the drink in her hands "the other one I wear is the Angelle family crest. It's my favourite at the moment"

"Losing your virginity does not equal losing your worth angel" Aaron said gently putting his hand on hers "and you can lose it at any time to anyone. Don't believe that you are unworthy of such things"

Her smile quickly grew wider as she basked in his blissful voice which echoed in her ears. She noticed the ring on his stern hands but noted she shouldn't pry into his life. Her eyes slowly dragged over his appearance and she saw him for who he truly was, just a normal man who was constantly stressed about his team because he genuinely cared for them.

"And now you're staring" he said softly with a smirk lining his face "I was just looking at your tie, don't think so highly of yourself" she replied quickly with a roll of her eyes "it's vintage Gucci yes? With the bee"

"You have a very good eye" he said with a slight smile "I suppose I should have expected that knowing you come from old money" he said mimicking her attitude and rolling his eyes "funny one agent Hotchner" she said with a smile.

"Have you given any more thought to my offer angel?" He said locking his eyes with hers and staring straight into her mind as though it would find him an answer he wanted to hear. "Yes I did think about it" she said softly with another look away trying to get Aaron to stop profiling her "and?" He said waiting on her response "well I spoke to Nick and he says I can keep an eye on Interpol cases while still working with you, I can imagine you will see the paperwork pass your desk tomorrow" this brought a full smile to his face.

"Will you swing by the office tomorrow? I would like to talk through a few things with you" he said as his hand went to her thigh "and thank you, for making my day so much better" he said readying himself to stand and walk out "I look forward to working with you angel"

"You're welcome" she replied breathlessly and smiling at him.

"I'll see you tomorrow"
