>> OFF POV >>
Gun accompanied me while I worked on the wall in the place we were staying in. We left Mond to finish preparing the main house. With the current progress, I'm planning to have it finished by the evening. I might not be able to smoothly transition to the main house as I'm sure Aunt Sylvia will have a lot of comments. She is working as a curator eversince I've known her back in middleschool so it is quite flattering that she commissioned me to do the walls.
I turned and noticed that Gun was already getting restless and bored having to sit there for hours.
"Gun, are you alright? Would you like to walk around the beach?" I offered.
"Go to the beach so that THAT lioness could pounce on you the moment I leave?!" He pointed out sarcastically.
"I don't think I'm that much of a weak prey." I laughed.
He shot me an evil glare making me shiver. "Yeah, I thought so, too." he added with a smirk as if he had proved his point.
I went over and wrapped him in my arms and geve him a lingering kiss. "You're the only one I'd bow down too." I said in a low voice before pinching his cheeks.
He suddenly looked down at hands and noticed fresh paint. He touched his fingers only to smear the paint down to his jaws making me stifle a laugh.
His brows knitted at the sight of the paint on his fingers. "Papi!" he complained. I couldn't help but let out the laugh as I found the whole skit rather funny.
"You think that's funny, huh?" he threatened as he grabbed the paintbrush from my hand and left a streak of paint from cheeks down to my shirt. He suddenly laughed as he looked at "his work of art".
We started painting each other as we laughed and fought over the paint brush. I ended up hugging him from behind while I trapped his hands and crossed it across his chest. We stood there trying to catch our breath.
We suddenly turned when we heard someone clear their throat behind us. Mond stood by the entrance and stared at us.
"I've just finished prepping the main room." He pointed out. "Do you need me to do anything else?"
"It's almost lunch. Why don't we eat out first then we resume afterwards." I said.
"Lunch? We just ate and its barely 11am." he pointed out.
"Aren't you hungry?" I looked at him and at Gun, who both shook their heads.
I let go of Gun. I took a look at the paints and handed him several pails. "Can you handle the base paint?"
"Of course! I've painted walls several times." He complained.
"Paint 2 coats of the light blue and the green, use it on the bottom, roughly 1/4 to 1/3 from the floor. Make it a nice slope." Papi instructed.
Mond easily crried the pails, a paint pan and a couple of rollers with ease. I caught Gun staring at him, specifically the poping veins on Mond arms. I stood infront of Gun, blocking his view. For some weird reason, he had the audacity to shove me aside and to continue to ogle at the guy.
"Nice view, eh?" I mocked with a scowl on my face.
"Yes, isn't he strong and did you see the..." his voice trailed as he slowly looked up to me. He grinned sheepishly knowing he was caught red-handed.
I managed to raised an eyebrow "Really?"I then waited for an explanation.
"But my Papi is the best. He's handsome, a wonderful artist, and nice, and sweet, and he's just perfect." he said trying to butterup to be.
