chapter twenty one- night with him

I looked over at jennie who was behind the couch staring at me with her wide eyes was she insane I got home at the right time I checked my watch again there was nothing wrong I told her unsurely

'I don't understand though I got home at the right time'

Jennie sighed loudly as she explained

'well mom tried to call you while you were studying with Delilah you never picked up and by the way your dinners in the oven'

She then walked away as I was still glued to the couch for a minute after that I got to grab my dinner from the oven I opened the oven door as some burning steam flew into my face like a bunch of bats as I carefully grabbed the plate once I had hold of my plate of chicken and fries I stumbled back to the living room and sat down to eat

Once I finished eating dinner I dragged my feet upstairs to my room and laid on the white sheets of bed tiredly as I was looking up at the ceiling I scrolled through social media endlessly after a few minutes I turned my phone off but before I could shut my eyes there was a quiet knock at my window I sighed silently before opening the curtains to see spiderman I opened up my window and whispered innocently

'hey spidey come on in'

He crawled up to my celing as I quickly closed the window then spiderman leaped carefully down onto my bed while saying

'hey ash how are you'

I responded with quietly

'I'm good thank you I was about to go to sleep before you showed up'

Spiderman sat down beside me while stroking my soft hair as I smiled gleefully he then whispered deeply

'I have to protect you from that green goblin I know we've only heard of him today but he said he may come back'

I exhaled while saying

'I'm still kind of traumatised after that horrible bitch almost dragging me away he must've found out somehow about us kissing'

Spiderman added

'I'll make sure nothing happens to you I promise I can't afford to lose you'

We talked for an hour or two I felt alive with him I felt like I could talk to him about whatever he was an amazing person and I was probably the luckiest girl to have a guy like him in my life after an hour had passed I yawned tiredly while saying sleepily

'I think it's best you leave now'

Spiderman quickly glanced over at me while I put the massive duvet over myself spiderman immediately responded

'I wanna stay with you though mind if I stay'

I let out another yawn while saying

'sure you can stay if you're that desperate to be with me'

as my eyes began to shut I added softly

'goodnight spidey I love you'

The next morning I opened my eyes slowly my curtains were wide open as the sun shined brightly in my eyes I put my head back down onto the pillow as I felt someone move around in my bed was spiderman still here I carefully looked over to see he was sleeping peacefully in my bed I didn't wake him though he looked adorable with every inhale and exhale every few seconds I then felt blankets move I heard quiet murmuring from him as he opened his beautiful eyes

'mmm... morning'

I quickly asked him while my arms were wrapped around him

'morning what are you still doing here'

he explained

'well I wanted to stay with you and I didn't want to leave you here by yourself so I decided to sleep with you for the night'

He added as he ran over to the window

'I'll go now see you later'

I rushed outside onto the cold balcony as he shot out a web once he disappeared from my eyes I began to get ready for the day and checked my phone school was closed for the day once I was ready I headed downstairs to the living room I wasn't hungry so I watched a movie in the living room after the movie ended my mom came downstairs when she saw me she grumbled in a tired voice

'what are you doing down here I thought you'd still be in bed because your that lazy'

I explained

'well me and Delilah are hanging out later because school is'

My mom butted in angrily

'I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE DOING JUST DON'T TALK TO ME'

She then left the room as I still sat there staring at the end credits from the movie

A few hours passed and I heard a knock at the front door I rushed over to open it Delilah smiled brightly while saying

'hey ash can I come in'

I responded with

'sure follow me'

delilah entered into the house as she followed me upstairs to my room once we were in my room we both sat down on my bed as the sun shined through the windows suddenly delilah glanced over at me in shock her cheeks had turned bright red and she was smirking as she asked

'why the fuck does your whole bed smell of cologne'
