chapter thirty- broken heart

Harry's/pov

I walked home steaming with anger I couldn't believe it my life was basically ruined I would never get my chance with ash she was with Peter once I reached the front door to my house I pushed the door open kicking off my shoes I then angrily slammed the door behind me my father shouted at me from the kitchen

'hi harry how was school'

I didn't say anything to my father I was so bloody furious that I didn't want to talk to anyone my father entered the hallway seeing me with a bashed up face and the bloody tissue I still had in my hand to clean up my blood my father ran up to me and added

'Harry who did this to you are you alright'

I grumbled

'I fucked up my chance to be with ash she's with someone else now I'll never be with her'

Norman's/pov

I couldn't believe what I was hearing my son didn't get the love of his life I would torture her the next time I see her I then hugged harry while saying

'don't worry son I'll make her love you don't worry you can have a few days off school to heal your pain ok'

Harry quickly ran off while saying

'thanks'

Ashes/pov

I got home rather quickly from school I just wanted to get away from harry because if he found me he'd probably bury me alive once I entered the house I flung my shoes off seeing my dad standing near the door staring at me with that creepy look he always had he grumbled

'you've gotten home early it shouldn't be like this'

I ignored him as I walked to the living room to sit down after the long day I had as soon as I got to the living room I saw my mom sat down on the couch drinking some tea and my dad had followed me to the room he then shouted

'DON'T YOU DARE IGNORE ME WHEN I WAS TRYING TO TALK TO YOU'

I quickly responded

'well I didn't feel like talking to you because you basically treat me like shit'

My mom gasped as she looked round at me it looked like she almost spat out her hot tea she then shreaked while putting her cup carefully onto the coffee table

'DON'T YOU DARE SWEAR IN THIS HOUSE AND IGNORE YOUR FATHER APOLOGISE NOW'

I shouted before racing upstairs to my room

'I'M NOT APOLOGISING TO ANYONE I'VE HAD A STRESSFUL DAY AND I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE'

as I raced upstairs my mom was chasing after me but luckily I made it to my room alive I immediately locked door and flopped onto my bed as I began texting Peter

ash: hey spidey 😏

Peter: hi princess how are you 🤍

ash: I'm ok just had another stupid fight with my parents

peter: baby what happened this time 😅

ash: I got home early ignored my dad cuz I'm pissed off with him then my mom shouted at me for the millionth time 😌

Peter: your family's wild I feel bad for you

ash: aww don't worry I'm used to it 😂

Peter: btw can I come see u Friday night

ash: but its sister's birthday tomorrow my mom will force me to hang out with my family 😓

Peter: will still be able to have some fun don't you worry 😈

ash: hopefully I have to go now I love you spiderman ❤️

Peter: I love you too beautiful ❤️

I then put my phone down on my lap before grabbing my earphones to listen to some music an hour later I heard my mum screaming wildly

'ASH HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO CALL YOUR NAME GET YOUR ASS DOWNSTAIRS'

I sighed as I left the room to go downstairs to the dining room everyone was already there waiting for me I sat down in my regular seat without saying a word and as always there was silence at the table but Jennie tapped my mom like me on the shoulder and whispered to her

'mom remember it's my birthday tomorrow you said you were going to remind everyone but I think you've forgotten'

my mom said in her sweet angel voice

'ohh darling sorry I forgot about the announcement I'll do it now'

Ashes then announced

'everyone just to remind you tomorrow it's jennie's birthday I've invited the whole family round and because it's the summer we're having a barbecue'

my dad then added

'and remember to be nice to jennie I don't want to see my beautiful daughter upset on her birthday'

jennie the hugged both my parents tightly while laughing

'thanks you two'

We then continued eating silently after dinner I had to take all the plates out to my mom she was smiling brightly while washing up but unfortunately I ruined it for her I tapped her shoulder she glanced round at me her wet hands were dripping on the floor as she saw me with the last pile of plates my mom shreaked dramatically

'DO YOU EVER KNOW NOT TO DISTRACT ME WHEN I'M WASHING UP WHAT DO YOU WANT'

I panted while saying

'I've got the last of the washing'

I put the pile of plates down on the side for her and she kept staring at me with that evil look she the grumbled

'remember don't ruin your sister's birthday tomorrow or you'll be kicked out of the house do you understand'

I nodded my head quickly before running upstairs to the bathroom to brush my teeth before heading to room I shut the door and closed my curtains slowly i then switched off the light and jumped into bed to scroll through social media I laid praying to myself that I wouldn't fuck up tomorrow all I could feel were shivers down my spine as I put my phone on my bedside table and put the soft blankets over me I then slowly shut my eyes as I began falling asleep
