chapter twenty eight- traumatised

Ashes/pov

I was racing back to my house truly traumatised of my near death experience I know I couldn't tell my parents they wouldn't believe me and they'd probably worry about my safety once I reach the entrance to the house I knocked carefully knowing they wouldn't answer even though they were awake knowing I mysteriously disappeared at early hours of the morning suddenly my mum opened the door seeing me breathing heavily she stared at me for a second before snapping

'where were you we woke to find you gone come inside now'

My mom dragged me by my arm inside the house she lead me to the living room I sat down before saying another word to me both my parents staring at me I snapped

'so why have you dragged me in here'

My dad grumbled tiredly

'well if you haven't disappeared this morning you would've known'

I added

'fine what do I need to know'

My mom announced happily

'it's your sister's birthday in a week or two I'm inviting the family and I'm hoping you won't mess it up like you did on the last family gathering do you understand'

I nodded my head quickly and explained

'well I didn't actually ruin the'

My mom shouted

'DON'T YOU DARE SAY YOU DIDN'T WRITE IT YOU DID'

I ignored her as I left the room I didn't bother to argue with my mom once I was upstairs in my room I quickly opened my curtains to let some light in my room but I jumped when I saw spiderman I opened the window and whispered

'hey spidey you scared me'

he crawled while saying

'sorry I was coming to check if you were alright'

peter then removed his mask so I could see his beautiful face in front of my eyes the where some faints little scratches but I didn't mind it he was still pretty I answered

'you look beautiful today love'

Peter looked away from me for a second then glanced back at me his cheeks were light red so he'd clearly been blushing he whispered while hugging me

'thank you'

we then snuggled onto my bed where I began kissing him he started kissing back but after a few seconds it turned into another rough make out session suddenly I heard a pear of feet stomping upstairs I started panicking I whispered to peter

'shit hide under the bed they won't find you there'

He nodded his head before quickly hiding under my bed just before my mom entered my room she walked closer to my bed I sweat was dripping down my spine as she asked sternly

'what are you doing'

I replied

'I'm texting Delilah why'

Peter's/pov

I was still hiding under ashes bed trying to stay silent my heart was beating like crazy my eyes were wide open as I could see two pairs of feet in front of my eyes ashes mom then continued

'well I heard you scream while I was having a online meeting with my modelling manager'

Ash then lied

'well I accidentally knocked something over and it scared me'

Ashes mom then stepped away from the bed and snapped

'well you should've been careful next time being clumsy is a crap personality trait'

Ashes/pov

Suddenly I heard Nathan's voice echo down hallway

'ASH IS A SCAREDY CAT'

I screamed

'SHUT THE FUCK UP NATHAN OR I'LL BEAT YOUR FLAT ASS'

My mom slapped me roughly round the face leaving me with a red mark she then shrieked

'DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT TO YOUR BROTHER AGAIN'

she slapped me one more time before leaving the room slamming the door behind her I heard her stomp her feet back downstairs before whispering to Peter

'you can come out now

He crawled out from under the bed seeing the red mark that formed on my face he sat down beside me i then laughed quietly

'I'm sorry about my embarrassing family'

Peter hugged me tightly while saying

'it's ok beautiful'

He then asked me

'that's quite a mark are you alright'

His beautiful eyes stared into my soul as I replied with

'you don't have to worry about me I'm fine'

Peter then explained

'I do your family treat's you like shit every 24/7 and I'll be there for you I promise'

I nodded my head understanding everything he just said he then at his mask on while saying

'I'm going to head off now see you later I love you'

I responded with

'I love you to make it home safely'

He carefully opened my window and swung off once he'd disappeared I slowly closed the window before heading over to my desk I turned my computer on to watch youtube for a couple hours

A few hours later I turned off my computer I yawned softly while extending my arms to stretch them out I saw out it was pitch black the stars were clear white and it was raining heavily which was so relaxing i got changed into some comfy clothes

And quickly turned the light off before rolling slowly into to the soft comfy sheets on my bed I snuggled under still hearing the rain falling softly as I began to stare up at the dark ceiling a few seconds later I slowly closed my eyes before sleeping peacefully still hearing the rain fall from the beautiful night sky
