chapter thirty seven- final battle

ashes/pov

'GET YOUR FUCKING CRUSTY LIPS OFF HER'

harry stayed on the floor horrified he stared at spiderman for a minute before spiderman quickly explained worriedly

'how long have you two been in this lab for you alright'

I mumbled

'yeah we're alright I guess just a bit frightened that's all but please save us we don't want to be with that disgusting green bitch any longer then we have to'

peter added while looking at harry

'but what about harry how is he here as well and how is he not tied up to a'

before spiderman could finish what he was saying the green goblin dramatically entered the lab punching him he fell to the ground before the green goblin cackled

'it's because spiderman I made him my assistant and we both came up with this impressive plan together'

harry continued

'he also set a bomb to blow up the lab killing ash and Delilah along with it'

me and delilah both gasped quietly this time we knew we had to panic the green goblin was going to blow up the lab killing us he dragged his feet over to this bright red button he then cackled wildly

'any last words before the five minute countdown'

spiderman shouted

'I'LL FIGHT YOU UNTIL I FIND OUT WHO YOU ARE'

the green goblin slammed the button and the countdown immediately started the panicking had begun spiderman had started a dramatic fight with the green goblin while me and Delilah were
panicking after a few minutes Peter managed to escape the fight with the goblin because he was knocked down weak he quickly grabbed harry but he screamed

'LET ME GO I HAVE TO HELP THE GREEN GOBLIN I'M HIS ASSISTANT'

peter's/pov

I held harry tightly so he wouldn't escape my grip I put him on top of a nearby building before responded with calmly

'I'm sorry harry but this guy is a psycho and he almost killed ash you've got to understand the green goblin is evil he's not innocent he's just a crazy asshole destroying everyone's lives'

harry finally admitted his defeat and mumbled quietly

'ok I understand'

I then swung back to lab to untie delilah but the green goblin tackled me to the ground this time he was crazier than before   after taking his final punch to me he mysteriously disappeared I was going to try find him but I looked at the timer I only had three minutes I managed to untie delilah before swaying her to safety but for some reason harry had disappeared I asked delilah

'where's harry'

delilah yelled

'HE WENT HOME NOW GO SAVE YOUR PRECIOUS GIRL SHE'LL DIE IF YOU DON'T SAVE HER IN TIME'

I then swung back to the lab again literally felt like déjà vu going back there once I got there was only two minutes left I started to panic as I was untying ash suddenly I felt a sharp pain across my head it was the green goblin this time I was going to go of the hook with him I shouted

'HOW DARE YOU KIDNAP ASH AND ALMOST KILL HER I WILL FUCKING END YOU'

ashes/pov

the fight carried on as I just watched and stared at the two who kept ripping the shit out of each other Peter's mask was ripped and I could only see his beautiful eye poking out the mask I gasped before the goblin yelled

'SPIDERMAN STOP'

peter screamed back

'NO I WON'T STOP UNTIL YOU STOP DESTROYING THE CITY AND LEAVE ASH OUT OF THIS'

the green goblin added innocently while taking off his mask

'spiderman please stop look it's me'

peter's/pov

was I dreaming the green goblin was norman osborn ash looked like she was going to levitate I said

'norman osborn you've been the green goblin all this time but why'

norman sighed before grumbling

'you've spun your last web spidey this place will blow up any minute and all of us will be dead'

I then completely lost my shit with him I started to punch him to the ground I didn't care anymore he had caused so much damage that I couldn't take it anymore I shreaked while removing his mask

'WELL YOU'VE ALMOST KILLED ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE'

norman sympathetically said

'look Peter I'm sorry I just wanted harry to get what he wanted in life please just save me from this curse then I'll be free'

A robotic voice seriously answered

'sixty seconds remaining'

I saw ash still tied to the pole beginning to panic I quickly asked norman

'what cuse'

norman showed me this green liquid in front of me he explained

'something that I'd inject into my body to become the green goblin'

I felt like something was behind me as norman added softly

'please Peter I'm sorry for everything I did please forgive me'

he then pushed this button he had in his hand and cackled wildly

'this will now make my dream come true'

ashes/pov

as I saw this mechanism coming towards peter he immediately jumped as it stabbed into norman's body there was blood dripping out his abdomen as he was groaning in pain I couldn't help but quietly gasp his last words were before the colour drained out his face

'don't tell harry'

I couldn't believe he died right in front of my eyes a few tears formed in my eyes as Peter stared into my eyes he walked towards me and said calmly

'don't worry I'll get you out of here'

peters/pov

Suddenly a raging alarm started ringing loudly the robotic voice shreaked

'ten seconds remaining'

Ash yelled

'PETER HURRY I DON'T WANT TO DIE'

I quickly put my mask on before untying ash she started sobbing while saying

'we've only got five seconds left please hurry'

delilahs/pov

there was this almighty bright explosion I screamed

'ASH SPIDERMAN'

I fell to the ground crying I couldn't believe they were gone what was I supposed to do now this was the end of everything suddenly I glanced up to see spiderman holding ash I shreaked

'OH MY GOD I THOUGHT YOU TWO DIED'

ash then replied

'wait what about norman aka the goblin'

I added

'yeah what about him peter'

Peter sighed disappointedly while saying

'I'm so sorry delilah he died'
