chapter twenty four- identity revealed

Peter's/pov

Ash signed loudly before she started walking back into delilah's suddenly I shot out a web so she was close to me she gasped quietly as I could see tears forming in her diamond eyes I then leaned in to kiss her luckily she didn't pull away a few seconds into the kiss she whispered

'your spiderman'

I whispered back

'shut up'

ashes/pov

I couldn't believe it was I dreaming Peter was spiderman and he was kissing me I couldn't think of anything else to say suddenly after a few seconds I heard delilah's voice

'hey you two have been out here a little while are you guys'

she stopped talking when she saw us kissing her jaw completely dropped we quickly pulled away I responded with

'yeah yeah I'm coming I'm sorry for everything I said Peter I hope you forgive me'

I kept following delilah but before I could enter I heard faint police sirens I stared at Peter for a second before he looked away at the view of the city he climbed carefully onto the railing and leaped off I whispered to myself before running in

'be careful peter'

Peter's/pov

I swung through the warm breeze the police sirens were becoming louder until I could fully hear them they were all across the massive bridge I saw a green figure in the distance I quickly got changed into my spiderman suit and leaped down there was so much traffic on the bridge suddenly the green figure flew down while laughing

'hello citizens of New York'

the green goblin attempted to throw a bomb but I managed to quickly shoot a web at him I tried to grab the bomb but the green goblin laughed

'not so fast spidey'

he forcefully pushed me to the side of the bridge before snatching the bomb away from me and threw down on the bridge once it exploded screams started filling the air as people started running for safety as a people kept running the monster started throwing punches at me I used some webs to stop him but he ripped them off seconds after I shot them I then shouted

'WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS'

he replied with

'because I wanted to'

He punched me and grabbed my neck until I was on the edge railing he sneered

'let's see how you deal with water'

the green goblin almost pushed me over the side but luckily I stopped him by punching and kicking him then punched him to railing while saying

'why don't we see how you deal with water'

I pushed him off the railing then looking down at his ugly face he shouted

'don't worry I'll come back again until I see you in pieces on the ground'

I heard the silent splash below a few seconds later there was cheering one person exclaimed

'thank you so much for saving us spiderman'

I began to swing away before it got too crowded

I was on one of the tallest buildings in New York the sky was still dark and the breeze was still warm I had my mask off and my feet dangling over the edge suddenly I got a call from aunt may I picked up quickly she snapped

'where have you been delilah's parents have messaged me saying that you've disappeared come home now'

I responded with

'ok ok I'm coming home now'

Once I got home I open the door slowly seeing aunt may sitting on the couch she was staring at me angrily I closed the door before sitting down next to her she asked

'where did you go'

I replied with

'I wanted to be alone so I'

Aunt May's stopped me by snapping

'can you put your hood down when you're talking to me'

I pulled my hood down quickly I could already see there were tears in her eyes as she saw the fresh bruise and cuts that was on my face she cried

'where do you go everytime I look at you I see and you bruise or cut'

I yelled

'I JUST GET THESE INJURIES FROM SKATEBOARDING JUST STOP ASKING ME WHERE I GET THEM FROM I'M GOING TO BED'

aunt may then yelled back

'FINE GO TO BED I DON'T WANT TO LOOK AT YOUR DESTROYED FACE'

I headed up stairs slowly and open the door to my room I stood there for a second before falling onto my bed I started scrolling through social media I didn't know how to feel anymore ash knew I was spiderman I hoping she wouldn't tell anyone I immediately went on whatsapp and started messaging her

Peter: hey ash you still awake ❤️

Ash: yeah I'm still up what's up

Peter: I forgot to apologise to you earlier it's all my fault that I've been disappearing so I'd like to say I'm sorry

Ash: I understand it must've been hard keeping it a secret I forgive you ❤️

Peter: but you can't tell anyone else about this not even harry or Delilah promise

Ash: I promise I'm going to sleep now I love you Spidey 😘

Peter: I love you too ❤️

I carefully put my phone down on my bedside table I sighed quietly as I stared out to see the darkness fill my room it was already one in the morning my eyes were getting heavy but I didn't bother to shut them but after an hour or two I shut my eyes
