Chapter 11:Saved by Trickery

(Ruby's point of view)

I looked again and he took off into the sky,the clouds blocked him,we lost him.I looked at Scpethis and we both dove and met with Kaida.

"That wasn't,right?"she muttered.

I nodded and she turned pale.

"What are we gonna do?"Hunter said.

"Ruby try to communicate with Artemis"Scepthis said.

"She can't,they have to be nearby"Kaida said.

(Artemis' point of view)

"Avdimi put me down!"I shouted.

"If I do you fall to your death"he said smugly.

I grunted,abd I hated to admit it but he was right,I have no use dead.

"Where are you taking me!?"I shouted again.

"Somewhere"he replied.

I wondered why hadn't he killed me on the spot,why take me away?

I then tried to talk to Ruby,but I was too far away.

Then Avdimi began to dive,and I saw a cave and he landed in it and let me off.

"What do you want?"I shouted.

"Artemis,Scepthis is Scepthis,he's the real Avdimi!"Avdimi said.

"And how should I believe you?You if you are Scepthis killed Ryuu!"I shouted.

"I am Scepthis"he said.

"Prove it,if you are Scepthis then answer this question,when Kaida supposedly questioned 'you' she got mad because?"I said sarcastically raising my eyebrow

"I called you her boyfriend which I now know is true"he said.

My eyebrows dropped.

"Oh"I muttered.

"Told you"he said.

"But how!?"I said.

"In the second round of when I fought Avdimi I was weakened and he managed to cast a spell which basically made my body his puppet,and my soul was transferred into his body,so he could transfer his soul into my body and pass himself off as Scepthis,but he's secretly plotting to steal the elements"he said.

"But why didn't you fight it and try to reclaim your body?"I said.

"That spell is a very powerdul one that Mania taught him,Mania would teach us one powerful spell,mine was to be able to revive someone,the catch is the spell is only reversable by the one who casted it"Scepthis said.

"But why did you tell us that now why not before?"I asked.

"When Avdimi is in his real body,I can't do anything until he goes into mine,so when he didn't choose to attack,he would go into my body and try to steal the elements"Scepthis said.

"Hey Scepthis do you think you acn handle one more trick?"I said grinning.

"Why not?"he said mischieviously.

So I told him my little plot.

(Ruby's point of view)

"We have to find him!"Kaida said.

"Where"Scepthis -who was really Avdimi- said.

"Wait there's something coming!"Hunter said.

(Artemis' point of view)

I flew with Scepthis and landed just in front of where Kaida was,and I went to Kaida and I looked blank,like I had nothing on my mind,I then grabbed the belt of Terrafang and turned around and I duplicated it and I made it invisible -I learned that from Scepthis- and quietly sneaked it into my bag slowly pulling out the orrb of Leviathan then I motioned for Scepthis to come out,he roared and I secretly grinned.

"Give me the elements Artemis"he said.

"Yes master"I said in the same blank voice.

So I gave the both duplicated orbs to Scepthis.

Then everything went as planned Sceothis chanted something and Avdimi's soul was then transferred to original body and he laughed.

"Yes!The elements are mine!"he said.

"Now I shall summon them and kill you all!"he said.

"Return to before
This spell is no more

This spell is no more!"he shouted them his eyes turned white and a black figure escaoed from his mouth and entered Scepthis' body.

"That actually worked,I was saved by trickery!"Scepthis said when he was in his original body.

"What!?"Avdimi shouted enraged.

"You see I found out that Scepthis was Avdimi and vice versa,then we decided to do a little trick,I duplicated the elements and manipulated the chant -which I learned from Scepthis- to undo the spell you cast on Scepthis"I said proudly.

"You little pest"he shouted.

Then I snapped and then the orbs turned into vines which binded him -I again learned that from Scepthis- when he was unbound he fleed.I looked at Kaida who along with Ruby and Hunter stared in disbelief.

"What in Mania's name just happened?"she shouted.

Then I explained what happened the fight,the spell and the plot I planned.They all listened nodding now and then.

"So that's the real Scepthis?"Hunter asked.

I nodded.

"Oi"he said.

"My brain is going to explode!"Kaida shouted.

"How about we find Haikira so we can clear our heads?"I said.

Everyone nodded and at Dawn the next day we left for Haikira.
