John was up in the early morning. Nothing out of the blue, for he was an early bird. A letter, much like the one they first got when the group arrived at this house, was on the table. Unlike the welcoming letter they've received months prior, this one expressed about a "well-deserved" change that will take into effect in ten minutes after someone reads it.
He looked confused. What did that mean? He pondered and paced around with a piece of toast in hand. Two others eventually head downstairs. "Oh god, what is it now? Did Alab lose one of their test tubes again? Did Nikolai get held captive by those puzzle-making gremlins again? Are you working on a crossword?" Rosalie asked. "I still smell the gremlins to this day and there's still remnants of them in the couches..." Thiago muttered. "No. Not at all. Look at this." He showed them the letter.
He explained all he knew, and they theorized on it, when suddenly, everything went wizard of oz style.
