Optimus stood in the main room while everyone was just resting at the moment. Nobody had really brought anything up about Julie, not that there was really anything to talk about since she was not yet awake. Ratchet said that she was merely in stasis, and that it might be a little bit before she woke up, but there was nothing that anybody could really do other than wait and see what happens.
They still had not yet seen Agent Fowler either. It had been about a day since she had collapsed and there was still no telling when either of them would show up. Whether it be her waking up or the agent himself coming to check in. Optimus went and sat down in the medbay with a datapad in hand. He didn't understand why he cared so much about the girl, but at the same time part of his spark felt for her.
The proximity alarm went off as Optimus sat there in thought. "Agent Fowler has arrived." Ratchet called out to the base. The others turned toward the elevator and waited for it to open up. At the same time the monitor next to the berth started to go off. Optimus looked over the bed and saw her shifting in her sleep.
"Julie?" Optimus asked.
The others looked over and saw her starting to sit up. Even her wings were twitching at the same time. "Where am I?" The words mumbled over the waking girl.
"Optimus, back away from her! NOW!" Agent Fowler cried out. Everyone was startled by the man's tone of voice, quickly looked over and saw him holding a gun towards the girl. "That is a national threat you have right there."
"A national threat? What the heck are you talking about?" Jack asked.
"Who the heck are you and get the heck away from me?" Julie cried out. They turned and saw her standing at full strength on top of the berth. She was looking right at Agent Fowler.
"You're a monster, what makes you think that I would let you be free."
"Because you need me to live." Julie cried out. "You and everyone else." She reached her hand up towards her chest, but as soon as she did she freaked out. Optimus was about to pick her up, but she immediately charged at Agent Fowler in flight. "What did you do to me? Where is Midnight?" Julie cried.

She charged at Agent Fowler, they took her partner, someone did. Usually the snake laid around her chest and was usually aroused whenever there was something going on, especially when she was upset. All of the military were after her and her freedom to live, and tried constantly to take it away from her. "What did your men do to my friend?" She yelled as she held the man up by his shoulders against the wall. "We don't have him, the last one that held you was the MECH facility." Agent Fowler cried out as he tried to get out of her grip.
Julie looked away for a minute, but then it all came back to her. She remembered how she escaped the facility, but she wasn't able to save Midnight. She recollected being on the run and losing all her memories, which prevented her from remembering to save her friend. She had to find MECH, and fast or else Midnight's life was at risk. She set the man down and almost instantly she took off on her wings and went up the elevator shaft, faster than anyone could even imagine for her size.

"Julie!" Bumblebee cried out. Meanwhile Jack, Raf, and Miko were running over to Agent Fowler's aid. "I am fine, she didn't hurt me." Agent Fowler cried out, "That girl is a military discovery that they have been after for years. If I knew who Julie was before she revealed who her identity was, I would have immediately chained her up and sent her to the Pentagon."
"Who even is she? Why would the military be hunting her down?" Jack asked.
"Because she has been alive for more than 100 years."
"Yet she looks like a teenager." Arcee commented.
Optimus sat there slowly processing everything. "Clearly her mind has recovered her memories, otherwise she wouldn't have acted the way that she did, but still. If she is truly a danger that the military believes needs to be accessed, we need to find out where she went." Optimus turned to Ratchet, "Ratchet, see if you can pick up where she went on the radar."
"She is currently outside the base entrance, exactly where we first found her."
"She is looking for something then." Optimus responded, "Agent Fowler, do you have any idea who this Midnight may be?"
"It's a creature that she has been seen to carry around with her, along with there being another thing that lives below our feet. It looks like a giant worm, but has the most frightening appearance of tentacles all along the body. There has been no sign of her or the monstrous creature in a few decades, but the fact that she has shown herself now, makes me worry."
Optimus transformed before the others could respond and drove out toward the entrance, hoping to find Julie still there. As he came outside he saw the girl standing in the distance with her wings spread out around her. He heard the engines behind him as he saw all of the others coming out behind him. He transformed and stood up nearby, while the others also transformed with the human charges at their feet.
"What is she doing?" Miko cried out.
"No idea, but I don't trust it." Bulkhead replied. "If the military wants her, they can have her."
"Agent Fowler, do you know what she is doing?" Optimus asked.
"I have no idea, but I believe that if you can contain her for now, I can come back with more information on the discovery. Don't trust her though. She has been known to keep to herself." Agent Fowler said as he headed back inside to leave.
"Optimus, what is the plan? Should we catch her?" Ratchet asked.
"If she takes off in flight, we risk a higher chance of losing her and maybe even MECH coming back to find her. For now we should sit and watch, maybe she will come back to us from her own will." Optimus replied, "That means not engaging in violence Bulkhead, Arcee."

Julie stood there lost in thought. What was she to do? There was no way to find MECH because they were always on the move. At the same time she had very little possibility of surviving the military if she was on the run. It had been 30 years since she had been captured and locked up by the MECH facility. "Oh mother, what should I do?" She cried out. She let her wings fall to her side and she kneeled down on the ground. Right by her feet was a large rattlesnake, sunbathing. She reached down and picked it up. "Hello little one." The snake didn't even fight her as she wrapped the creature around her arm. It wasn't Midnight, but it reminded her to stay calm. Then the idea came to her. She stood up with her wings now folded up behind her back.
As she stood up she raised her arm up above her and sang. The song was without words, it was merely a tune that was able to hum aloud. She hummed it for a few moments before looking around her to see tons of snakes and birds coming up to her. As she turned around she also saw all of the others behind her watching. She saw the humans staring at her all confused, but noticed the snake that was coming up toward Miko. She quickly glided over to Miko and released a menacing growl from her throat. The others had turned guns onto her and Bulkhead was looking very angry at her, but Miko stood still as she now noticed the rattlesnake on her arm.
As she slowly crouched down, the snake by Miko turned and looked at her. "Be still. There is no enemy here." She reached out her arm and the snake immediately slithered up it and left the poor girl alone. Miko looked very shocked as she saw the snake that she failed to recognize, antagonizing her.
"How did you just...?" Raf started to ask, but Julie shook her head at the question.
Jack also stared at her in disbelief. Meanwhile the others seemed very confused.
Julie took a few steps away and laid the two snakes down on the ground, "Send word, find my little one." The tone of voice she used was stern and steady, but at the same time it was peaceful and almost motherly. She stood there and watched the snakes disappear into the distance, without a glance back at them. Then she turned around to the others and found all, but one gun gone. Bulkhead was still very annoyed with her, the gun was aimed at her head on.
"If I were you, I would put that away, we don't need millions of innocent lives dying because of your mistake." Julie replied. Her arms were folded over herself, and she stood firm as she stared at the robot in front of her.
"Bulkhead." Optimus spoke with a commanding tone, before Bulkhead finally put the cannon away and sighed. "Julie, what just happened?"
Julie looked up at Optimus and the others, she could see they all had questions on their minds, especially the children. "How about we go inside? I will answer whatever questions you guys have there, when everyone is present."
"What do you...?" Ratchet started to ask, but immediately shut up as the answer came back to him. "I will call him and let him know to come back." Ratchet said with a nod.
"Very well, it seems there will be much to discuss." Optimus replied. "Everyone let's head in."
The robots immediately turned into their car forms and drove inside with the humans, but Julie merely flew inside behind them, but not before she took one last glance at the world outside.
