Julie stood there for a few minutes waiting, as tears started to shed down her face. "Hurry up Ratchet, or I will go up to the roof and fly off that way." She cried, as she turned back toward them, only to find that Optimus had come up behind her. He was kneeling down on one knee in front of her with so much sorrow in his eyes it felt like she had just been stabbed by a cold blade.
"You are right, Julie. We have been distancing ourselves from you, but don't blame the others. They have been acting in such a manner under my command." Optimus spoke, clear sadness in his voice.
"Why would you tell them all to do such a thing? Why would you want to do such a thing?" Julie hissed. "Did you know?" She turned to Midnight who was on her shoulders now looking at her. Midnight slowly nodded as he was looking at her. "You know all this time and you just watched? That is why you never sat there and stood up for me this whole time? Did I do something wrong? Is that why you don't see me as a team member?" Julie cried as she looked up at Optimus. "What about you Smokey, were you also in on this?"
"No, I had no idea. I haven't even been here that long." Smokescreen cried, shaking his hands in front of him in protest.
"I noticed you guys started distancing yourselves from me when Bulkhead got injured from retrieving the relic. I thought I was finally starting to be treated as a member of this team. I do care about team prime, but it is so hard when you guys are hurting me. Why Optimus? Why?" Julie stated as she looked at everyone and turned back to Optimus.
"Because I thought we needed to protect you. Megatron does not know yet of your abilities, he knows of you as Ethera, but he doesn't know what your powers are. I had the team distance ourselves from you because I thought it meant more protection for you, especially after you had come to me a while back the first time about Primus speaking to you." Optimus spoke. "Along with that I think we slowly were starting to really care for you. Especially me and Ratchet."
"You did all this to protect me? How can I believe you? How can I believe any of you? I thought I was for one somewhere safe and where I can call home. Especially after I finally was reunited with Midnight, I thought I for once could call this a home. I don't care about the danger of me getting injured. I can heal, I have my powers that can heal me easily, unless it is iron then yeah it is gonna take me a little while, but I swear. I could have helped prevent Bulkhead's injury if you just let me help. I helped save Bulk when he had a bomb ticking on his chassis." Julie cried. Tears streamed down her face and her wings hung so low. "Even you Arcee? Even after you yelled at me when I was trying so hard to help aid you guys earlier? That seemed very real to me. I swear you guys had hated me, but every time I felt the urge to leave it was like you guys knew and were trying to stop me. Or I would start feeling bad and care for you guys all over again."
"I was mad earlier with you, but Optimus is telling you the truth. We didn't want to do it, but we agreed because he was right or it seemed like he was at the time." Arcee protested.
"We didn't want to, we swear. Even Optimus was hesitant at the start, but he persuaded himself and us that we were all doing the right thing." Bumblebee buzzed. "We didn't want to hurt you in such a way. We thought that when your little surprise was made it would help buy us some more time with you before you had enough of it, because you're right, we didn't want you to leave us."
"You might have to deal with it anyways. Whether I choose to or not." Julie stated.
"What do you mean?" Bulkhead asked. "Why do you have to leave?"
"Primus is gonna send me away sometime in the future, teleporting me to some different dimension where I would end up leaving this world. I don't know when, but he said that the world would need me to help save them, just like how he has been telling me I have been needed here, now." Julie explained. "So when he told me I was going to have to leave, I was actually excited, because I hated how I felt here among all of you guys at the time. I felt like you guys were truly trying to kick me out, so I had been patiently waiting the past few weeks for when he would send me away, but yet I still wanted to help you."
