Julie sat up in the beams, like she usually does resting from the quiet that was in the base. Nothing has been going on the past few days, other than Bulkhead slowly recovering and Miko nagging at him nonstop to recover. She understood that he needed to work to recover, but at the same time she felt that Miko was pushing him a little bit too hard.
"Three steps, Bulkhead? That's all you can manage?"
"I'm sorry, Miko. My legs still hurt." Bulkhead moaned, as he slowly sat up from falling onto the floor. Everyone in the base was watching the process.
"What did I tell you?"
"No excuses."
"Exactly. Try again. 10 steps this time."
"I hope decoding the iacon database is going more smoothly than Bulkhead's recovery." Ratchet spoke up.
"Slow, but steady old friend." Optimus replied.
"Ah, human technology, but your expertise in the field should provide any edge we need to beat the decepticons at this game."
"I fear their access to cybertronian technology may prove them with equal advantage." Suddenly the sound of Bulkhead falling down distracted everyone.
"Not good enough. You have to come back stronger than before." Miko cried.
"Time for a break Bulkhead." Ratchet spoke up.
"A break? You think the cons are gonna give Bulkhead a break in the middle of a firefight?"
"If you push a patient too far too fast, you risk exacerbating their injuries."
"But..."
"Bulkhead needs to rest."
Miko moaned out in anger as she stomped her feet on the base floor, right before Bumblebee drove into the base. Bee drove around her and in front of her before transforming, just as Miko cried out. "Out of the way." Julie watched as Miko walked over to the elevator and disappeared from view. She watched as Arcee walked away and left the room after her. There was not much of anything that she could do, so she sat there and fell fast asleep hoping that Arcee was able to help motivate Miko.
"Removing Bumblebee and replacing him with..." Raf spoke up.
"The tap dancing monkey strikes again." Jack fist bumped Raf in the process.
"Bumblebee sightings on the world wide web are no laughing matter." Ratchet cried, waking up Julie in the process. Julie found herself jerking up and nearly falling off the beam, catching hold of it before she fell.
"Seven...eight...nine..." Miko counted as they sat there doing leg lifts.
"Why can't I just drive from now on?" Bulkhead cried.
"Because your legs will atrophy if you choose not to use them." Ratchet replied. Bulkhead groaned, before him and Miko resumed exercising. "One...two...three."
"Julie, don't think I didn't notice you nearly falling up there. You should stop going up there, one of these times you're going to seriously hurt yourself." Ratchet cried as Julie slowly was pulling herself back up onto the beam, from the forced movement of her catching herself.
"It is not like I have my own room here, ya know. Besides, I like my space up here." Julie cried out in reply as she looked down at the medical bot. "Not that you would ever understand."
"Wait, what's that?" Jack asked.
"A cybertronian escape pod?" Raf asked.
"Here in Earth's atmosphere?" Ratchet cried out. Raf pulled the picture up on the monitor as everyone turned to look at it.
