The sound of a spacebridge powered on, and she quickly got onto her feet, before flapping her wings as best as she could, flying after the team through the bridge. Julie flew through the bridge behind the bots as they entered the base.
"The children? What happened?" Ratchet cried as he saw us all entering the base through the bridge. The bots set the kids down on the platform while they were in the jars, but they ignored Ratchet. "Somebody say something." Ratchet cried.
"Optimus destroyed the Omega Lock." Bulkhead spoke up as Optimus was walking toward everyone. Julie hovered as she saw something in her head, before panic filled her. "What, you did..." Ratchet spoke up, to be interrupted by Optimus. "What was necessary. There was no time for another prolonged battle. Not with Earth in imminent danger."
"So you destroyed the only device in any universe capable of restoring our home?" Ratchet asked. Sadness clear in his voice as well as in his body language. He looked absolutely hurt. "Optimus, we needed that."
"You weren't there doc, and it's not your place to second-guess a battlefield decision." Smokescreen spoke.
"It most certainly is. There had to be another way." Ratchet cried out now angry. "It wasn't that simple Ratchet." Jack cried, now that the humans were out of the jars thanks to the bots. "Megatron was using the Omega Lock to attack the Earth." Raf replied.
"Opptimus saved our planet." Miko commented.
"What about our planet?" Ratchet cried out angrily. "All of our struggles and energon spilled and countless sacrifices...for nothing?"
"Right decision or wrong, what's done is done, but we have another problem here, on this world. The cons changed the rules when they put Jack, Miko and Raf into play." Arcee spoke.
"PRIME! The pentagon's preparing to go defcon one. I need to know what we're dealing with." Agent Fowler cried.
"To what do you refer, Agent Fowler?" Optimus asked.
"Maybe you should step outside and see for yourselves." Agent Fowler answered.
"Ratchet, watch the children." Optimus ordered.
"No use, I already know. I can feel it." Julie cried as she fell from the air where she hovered and onto the floor of the base. "The cons know where the base is. They are above us as we speak. It's kind of obvious when I followed the cons from the school through the groundbridge and spacebridge to Cybertron. They are about to destroy the base as we speak."
"We're going up anyway, we need to witness what is going on up there." Optimus spoke as he turned to the others and told them to head out. They all headed up to the roof, while Julie laid there against Jack for support. After a while the whole base started to shake.
"What's happening?" Jack cried.
"What is going on out there?" Ratchet asked as the bots entered the main room.
"The Decepticons have invaded Jasper." Optimus replied.
"And Fowler seems to think he can hold them off." Bulkhead commented.
"Prime, reinforcements just arrived." Agent Fowler cried on the comlink.
"Agent Fowler, your military cannot prevail against..." Optimus spoke to be cut off.
"You didn't think I was gonna let Team Prime have all the fun, did ya?" Wheeljack cried out on the coms.
"Haha, it's Jackie." Bulkhead cried out.
"Wheeljack, but how did you?" Ratchet asked, surprised.
"Picked up a strange energy surge, hope you don't mind the company." Wheeljack appeared on the screens.
