She didn't know what t wear. Cami threw the clothes out of her closet and hearing the commotion, Macie came in.

'May i know why exactly you are trashing your closet?'

'I need a good dress.'

'I got that dummy. I meant what occasion?'

'Uhmm ya know just casually meeting Clay's parents'

'Ohh'

Macie looked down at the pile and took random top and bottom. 'This is good, right?' she asked handing the outfit to her. Cami's jaw dropped at her ability to pick such a good outfit, randomly that too.

'Thanks Mace. Your a lifesaver'

'Wel I owed you one'

Clay asked her to get ready by 11 am and it was 9. She quickly showered, did her hair and put on the outfit. As soon as it hit eleven she heard a knock on the door. They opened it to see Clay and Nick. Nick walked in and gave a Macie a bouquet of flowers. Clay just shrugged and pulled her out of the house even before she could say farewell to Macie and Nick.

As they were driving, Clay noticed that Camilla seemed worried. She looked tense and worried.

'What's wrong?'

'Uhmm i dunno if they will like me'

'Dont worry they will. As I said, they love you. Like almost everyone in my family is talking about you.' he said with a reassuring smile.

She cooled down a little but was still worried on the inside. He put his hand on her thigh slowly trying to keep her calm but all it did was bring butterflies in her stomach. She felt calm but even more tense.

They soon arrived at the house. It was a huge house. Not a mansion but looked just as ok. 'This was my childhood home' he said while looking at the house. 'It looks beautiful' she said in awe. It looked really old but just as comfy as a new one.

Clay took her by the hand and rang the doorbell. A tall girl opened the door. She looked really similar to clay and ivy. The only difference was she had brown hair. She smiled at the two of them.

'Hey Clay. And hello Camilla right? Im Jessica'

'Uhmm hello' was all Camilla said.

Clay just smiled and gave a hug to Jessica and entered the house pulling me along with him. Then a lady with shirt blonde hair came in to the main room. She had a bright face and i could only guess it was his mom.

'Hello dear, I'm Clay's mom but you can just call me Nancy (I agree with you twitchth0ttie. Nancy be the best name for Dreams mom lol)

She just nodded and made a mental note to not call her that and just call her ma'am. The young girl came downstairs and gave her a big hug.

'I missed you Ivy' she says muttering her first good sentence after getting out of the car.

A boy who looked almost Ivy's age also came downstairs.
He grinned and introduced himself as Calvin. Clays dad came from the basement? and greeted her as well. They all crashed onto the main room couch. Everyone except Jess and Nancy were in the room. They were all chattering and arguing but it felt like a real family.

Cami, who has never been or even seen such happiness among a family smiled at them. If only her family had felt like this. Soon she was a par of the conversation and she was laughing with them as well. She finally felt what family should feel like.

Clay's mom later came in with lunch and called her kids to help her set the table. I wonder how they never felt annoyed by each other. Soon they were all eating together.

'This is wonderful ma'am' Cami said enjoying each bite

'Thank you dear' she says happily. Between each bite, ca!i answered different questions about her life. As soon as she was done Ivy pulled her upstairs to show her Clay's old room. Clay was beginning to protest but his mother looked at him and he shut up.

Ivy pulled her to a room on the edge. She entered to find a similar looking room to his room in his house. It was painted lime and has photos around the wall. There was a desk which looked like it held his computer on. There was a specific photo she noticed. It was of clay and another girl.

'You found my ex' Clay said appearing behind her.

'What happened?'

'Well she was a toxic bitch. So that ended but out of all the people i have dated, she was my favourite.'

'Even more than me?'

He wrapped his arms around her. 'No my dear Helen. I love you more than anyone i have ever loved'.

'I love you too' she said gladly.
