My Princess: Apoo x child! Reader

Apoo and the crew were hanging out on the deck, some were relaxing, others were training and Apoo was looking out at the sea. It was a quiet day, and Apoo didn't like it one bit. He grumbled about the quiet and went to write some music. He went to his room, sitting on his bed he began to write a song and several hours later a knock was heard on his door.

"Come in," Apoo said, he looked up from his paper looking at his first mate.

"Captain we have an issue." His mate said shifting.

"What kind of problem?" He asked listening for marines but not hearing it.

"I think it's best if you come and look yourself." He said Apoo rolled his eyes getting up and following his first mate. He led Apoo to a barrel and pointed to it.

"What?" Apoo asked before lifting the lid of the barrel, he looked in to see a six-year-old girl in there glaring up at him. Apoo blinked several times looking at his first mate confused.

"How did she get on board?" Apoo asked and everyone shrugged their shoulders. He went to pick you up but you bit his hand backing away from Apoo, Apoo pulled his hand back frowning at you. He wasn't mad though because you looked scared and confused, but you were trying to not show fear.

"How about you come out?" Apoo asked, and you shook your head violently.

"I think she may have been in this barrel for at least three or four days because she had to be in there since the last island." His first mate said looking at you.

"Are you hungry?" Apoo asked you shook your head again, but your stomach betrayed and it growled loudly. You blushed heavily looking down, and Apoo tried to pick you up again but you smacked his hand away He frowned crossed his arms, sighed, and looked at the first mate. The first mate tried to pick you up, which you allowed him to, Apoo felt offended because you laid your head on his shoulder.

"Oi, why did she let you pick her up?" Apoo huffed slightly, and the first mate shrugged his shoulders.

"No idea." He said before taking her to the kitchen, and the cook made her something to eat.

"What's your name?" He asked, and you looked down shrugging your shoulders. The entire crew looked at each other and Apoo kneeled in front of you. You backed away from him, and you looked at his arms, Apoo followed your gaze and his eyes soften. You were scared of him because of his long arms, he looked at you before looking at his crew. He decided to test his theory and had each person in his crew pick you up which you allowed them, but you refused to let Apoo pick you up.

"It's because of my arms," Apoo said sulking slightly, everyone sweatdropped. Their captain was sulking because of a six-year-old girl. The cook placed a plate of food in from of you and you began to poke at it before starting to eat it. Everyone cooed at you at how cute you were, they poked your cheek causing you to blush. Once you were done eating, a tall blonde woman picked you up, which you gladly accepted.

"Are you sleepy?" She asked you shook your head before hearing some music, your head looked around for the sound and she noticed.

"You like music?" She asked, and you quickly nodded your head.

"Yes..." She took you to their captain, and she set you down so you hid behind the wall listening to him. He noticed you, but he didn't do anything so he kept playing. You began to bounce up and down dancing to the music with a wide smile on your face. You quickly ran to him, looking at how he turned his arm into different instruments. Your (e/c) sparkled with interest and he looked down at you. He looked around seeing that it was just you two now, he smiled at you and you realized how close you were and went to hide behind a barrel again. He peeked around it to see you, and you gasped and fell on your butt.

"Want to listen to me play?" He asked you looked at one of his arms before looking at the arm that was turned into a saxophone. You looked back up at him before slowly nodding your head since your curiosity got the best of you, he picked you up and brought you to the chair he was sitting in before sitting you on his lap. He turned his arm into a trumpet next and began to play it. You clapped your hands to the rhythm of the music smiling widely.

Apoo couldn't help but smile at how adorable you looked, you swung your legs as he continued to play a song. The crew watched you two interact and they knew right then that Apoo was going to keep you onboard the ship, he wasn't going to drop you off at the next island. Once Apoo was finished playing a song, you clapped with a wide smile on your face.

"Want me to play another song?" You quickly nodded your head but he held his hand up which made you blink.

"What is your name?" Apoo asked, you looked downshifting slightly.

"Give me your name and I will play your favorite song whatever it is."

"I-I don't have a name. I have been on my own forever." You say quietly, Apoo frowned slightly before humming gently.

"Well, how about Lilly?" You shook your head making a face (If your name is Lilly then change it to a different name that's not yours.)

"Hmm how about (Y/N) (L/N)?" Your eyes beamed and you quickly nodded your head.

"I like that name." You say.

"Alright then, that's going to be your name now." You hugged Apoo tightly, he was surprised but he returned the hug.

"So what's your favorite song?"

"My favorite song is (f/s)." He smiled nodding his head as he began to play it. You swayed listening to the song before letting a yawn out. You cuddled against Apoo as he continued to play, and it wasn't long before you drifted off to sleep. He looked down at you before picking you up, he took you to his room before tucking you into bed. He then watched you sleep before leaving you to rest up.

"So I am going to assume she is staying?" His first mate asked, Apoo gave that smile that made the first mate laugh.

"Alrighty, well we are going to need to get her new clothes and everything."

"What's her name?"

"(Y/N) (L/N), named her myself. She likes the name." Apoo said, and the crew nodded their heads in understanding. Everyone went back to doing their own thing, Apoo went back to check in on you. You were clenching the blankets, and whimpers were leaving your mouth. Apoo rubbed your back, and you opened your eyes to see Apoo.

"Are you okay?" He asked and you slowly nodded your head.

"Y-Yes. Can you lay with me?" You asked shyly, Apoo laid beside you pulling you to his chest. You sighed softly cuddling more into him, you stayed quiet as he stroked your hair gently.

"Do you want to stay with us?" Apoo asked, you looked up and noticed he had a smile on his face.

"Become a pirate?"

"Our little pirate until you get older," Apoo said, you nodded your head quickly.

"YES!" You covered your mouth when Apoo fell off the bed due to your sudden outburst. Several crewmates came rushing in. You blushed heavily hiding underneath the blanket.

"Sorry," You say shyly peeking out from underneath the blankets.

"Nothing is wrong?" The first mate asked, you shook your head.

"Apapapapa, she is just excited to join the crew that's all," Apoo said picking you up. You hugged his neck hiding, before reaching out to the first mate. He went to grab you but Apoo held you to his chest which made you squeak out.

"A-Apoo~san..." You whined, and he chuckled softly.

"My child." Everyone blinked, and you looked up at him.

"So...I can call you daddy?" Apoo's face lit up with a bright smile.

"Yes, if you want to." You hugged him tightly.

"Daddy..." You say nuzzling him, and everyone laughed.

"He went to her least favorite person, to her favorite person suddenly." His first mate said. She nodded her head with a smile.

"I promise I will protect you, my little princess."
