Finally In Love: Benn x Reader 2.2

You were currently walking around the island with Benn, he had kept his promise and picked you up early so you both could spend the day together. It was quiet the majority of the time but he didn't mind, he found it adorable how you would keep your eyes down. He casually wrapped his arm around your waist pulling you close to him, you looked up at him and he smiled at you. You smiled back and he leaned his head down to kiss your forehead which made you blush but smile at the same time.

You both avoided his crew so you wouldn't be teased which you were glad for. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable in any way, since he wanted today to be a day you enjoy. Though he knew they wouldn't be on this island for long so he hoped that the question he would ask you would agree too. He didn't want to put pressure on you so he didn't ask you the question yet.

"Where are we going?" Benn asked, when you led him away from the general city, you smiled shyly looking up to meet his eyes.

"It's one of my favorite places. It's quiet and no one ever goes there." You said Benn nodded his head and you grasped his hand tightly before pulling him past the trees. Benn chuckled slightly as he followed making sure neither one of you fell over any loose tree roots. Once you both arrived you were by a small river, it was peaceful. You flattened your dress and you sat on the ground, Benn sat beside you leaning back on his hands. He watched as the wind blew your (h/c) (h/c) hair, and you looked completely at peace.

"I can see why it's your favorite place. Anyone would feel the peace being near this place, it's beautiful, almost as beautiful as you..." Benn said, your cheeks tinted pink and you nudged him with your shoulder.

"Shut it, will you..." You said, and Benn laughed softly before laying his head in your lap. You looked down at him and he placed his rough hand against your smooth cheek. You leaned into his hand and he sat up slightly and leaned close to press his lips to yours. Your eyes widen in shock and you froze not expecting him to kiss you. He stroked your cheek as he leaned more into the kiss, the touch of his fingers against your skin and it helped you relax. You slowly began to kiss him back, he sighed into the kiss glad you didn't pull away. He moved his hands around your waist and he sat right so he could pull you into his lap.

You straddled him and he stroked your waist as you move your arms around his neck. He hummed into the kiss, before parting slightly from the kiss. You opened your eyes and met his, they held something that you never experienced before you met him. Love. You carefully leaned in again pressing your lips against his, he inhaled deeply before licking your bottom lip. You parted your lips, and he used this chance to slip his tongue past your lips and explored your warm cavern. You completely melted into the kiss, the way he held you to his chest protectively as he continued to kiss you deeply. Your heart began to beat loudly in your chest, and your hands move to cup both of his cheeks. It wasn't long that he parted once more and you both were panting. You leaned your head against his shoulder and he chuckled softly before kissing your cheek.

"Can I say, that I love you, even though we just met officially yesterday?" You looked at him and smiled nodding your head.

"Y-Yes, because I always loved you too... I was just too shy to say anything." You said, and Benn chuckled softly as he watched you. You got up from his lap, and he watched you confused as you took his hand pulling him up.

"(Y/N)?" You gave him a smile that melted his heart completely, and you grabbed both of his hands before leaning into him.

"I want to dance..." You said, Benn shook his head but he wrapped his arms around you and swayed slightly. He spun you around and laughed slightly and he watched as your face filled with glee.

"(Y/N)... I didn't want to ask you this too soon. Yet hearing you say you love me back, I can't help but ask..." You blinked and he pecked your lips spinning you around again.

"What is it?"

"One question is will you be my girlfriend? And quite possibly marry me in the future..." Your mouth dropped open slightly as you stopped dancing and he walked closer to you. You couldn't help but smile nodding your head.

"Of course..." You said hugging his neck and he laughed spinning you around slightly.

"The next question is, will you join my captain's crew... so we can always be together..." He said, that made you frown as you forgot for a split second that he was a pirate.

"I-I will only be in the way when joining the crew..."

"I doubt that, everyone wants you to join."

"I am not strong."

"I will protect you."

"But..."

"(Y/N)...." Benn held your face gently and you chewed your lip nervously.

"I-I... fine I will..." He smiled softly and hugged you tightly to him.

"Great, captain is going to be happy." He said, and you laugh softly nuzzling your hair. You both stayed standing there and you couldn't help but be happy that you would always be around Benn.
