Chapter 10

"You are using what in your serum?" I question looking at Wesley. Wesley laughs nervously as he explains again what is all in the serum. "No wonder you guys are having so many issues with patients."

"What would you suggest we change?" Wesley asks me.

I look over the list of chemicals marking a few that could be switched to something safer. "Try this formula on the test rats," I say. 

Wesley looks over the chemicals I changed before he mixes up the new formula. He takes a syringe and injects the serum into the rat. I watch closely to all of the reactions the rat has. It seemed to be not as severe as it used to be and the rat seemed to calm down almost immediately. 

"You are a fucking genius!" Wesley yells before hugging me tightly. 

I laugh as I hug him back. "Thanks" 

"Makes me glad you were forced to marry Nelson," Wesley says. 

"What?" I say pulling away to look at Wesley. "How do you know that?" 

"I'm not dumb, Y/N. Nelson is my partner I know everything about him. You just so happen to show up one day and then are married?" Wesley says to me. 

I sigh "My parents forced us into our marriage. At first, I wasn't exactly thrilled about it but now" I said smiling slightly. "He is actually not as bad of a person as I thought. He's taken really good care of me and he changed things here at Syntec to please me" 

"He changed things at Syntec because he knew that was the only way to get the supplies he needed. He only agreed to take care of you for the supplies." Wesley says to me. 

"That's not true. Nelson loves me. He's said it himself that he wanted to date me first before we got married" I say to him. 

"Y/N listen to yourself," Wesley says. "Nelson cares about nothing but his company" 

I press my hand to my belly looking away. "How do you know this for sure?" I ask. 

"Come with me," Wesley says grabbing my hand gently. 

Wesley leads are down the wall to his office. He presses his ear to the wall gesturing for me to do the same. I press my ear to the wall and quickly realize Nelson's office was right on the other side of the wall.

"Marrying her was the best decision I ever made. We now get whatever supplies we need from her parent's company." I hear Nelson say. "It was always for the company nothing else." 

I slump to the floor as I hear this. Wesley was right, I had let my walls down for a man who only cared for his company. Wesley kneels down to me. "We can get you out of this" Wesely whispers. 

"How?" I ask. 

He brushes the hair out of my face. Wesley's office door opens "Hey Wesley, I need you too-" Nelson says before noticing our position. His expression turned dark "What's going on here?" 

"Y/N and I were talking about the newest version of the serum and she got dizzy. She collapsed here" Wesley says.

Nelson immediately looked worried as he rushed over to me. He puts his arms under mine as he helps me up. I tense against his grip. "Let's get you some sugar into your system. I have some juice in my office for you" Nelson says to me. 

I nod before looking back at Wesley as Nelson leads me out of Wesley's office. He walks me over to his office before sitting me down in his chair. He pulls out the juice he had for me and hands it to me. When I don't take it from him he knew something was wrong. 

"What's wrong?" Nelson asks me. 

"It's always been the company nothing else," I say repeating what I heard through the walls. 

Nelson looks at me confused. "What?" Nelson asks looking at me. 

"Marrying her was the best decision I ever made because now we can get whatever supplies we need from her parent's company. It was always for the company nothing else" I repeat. 

Nelson's face turns from confusion to anger. "You were listening in on my conversations?" He growls at me. 

"With good reason. Seems like this marriage literally means absolutely nothing to you!" I growl back. "After I started to finally love our marriage. After I finally started to love you!" 

"Do not snap at me," Nelson says pointing his finger at me. 

"I will snap at whoever I want to!" I yelled standing up abruptly. I was angry. My walls locked back up in place. All the progress Nelson and I had made together was thrown out the window. "You told me you loved me!" 

"I do love you!" Nelson yells back. 

"You love this fucking company! You love that my parents give you whatever you want! You don't love me" I scream tears spilling down my cheeks. 

Nelson grabs my face slamming my back into the wall. His lips meet mine aggressively as he pins me to the wall. He pulls away as he holds my face roughly. 

"Don't think I haven't noticed you getting buddy buddy with my partner either. I could say the same to you about not loving me" Nelson growls 

"I never wanted this marriage in the first place but here I am questioning if you love me," I say glaring at him. 

"I do love you" Nelson yells tears spilling down his face. He slaps the wall beside my head "I'm so fucking in love with you it hurts sometimes seeing you so comfortable around Wesley. You're mine!" 

I stare at Nelson as he stares back at me. Our breathing was heavy as we continue to stare at each other. I lean forward pressing my lips against his roughly. He grabs my face as he pulls me against him. Our lips move aggressively against each other our hands grasping at each other clothes. Nelson pulls me over to his desk before setting me on it. His hands slide up my skirt while I reach forwards to undo his pant. I slide them down along with his underwear before he pulls my underwear off. 

Nelson pulls me to him sliding into me roughly. I tilt my head back in pleasure. "I want to see someone else make you melt the way I do when they are inside you" Nelson growls as he starts to pound into me. 

I moan out loudly with each movement made. Nelson kisses me deeply as he thrusts into me. I could hear the desk creaking below me. My hands slide into his hair as I hold onto him tightly. His fingers dig into my hips roughly. I knew it would leave bruises but at this moment I didn't care. 

"Fuck" I say as I wrap my legs around his waist. 

"Yeah? That feel good?" Nelson groans in my ear. 

"Yes" I moan out.

"Yes only I can make you feel this way" Nelson says.

"Only you" I whimper.

"That's right" Nelsom says pulling me into another kiss.

I deepen the kiss, moaning into it. Nelson smiles into the kiss. He tries to hold me even closer. I move my heads to his cheeks so I can make him look at me.

"I love you" I says. "Fuck I love you so much"

"Fuck Baby" Nelson says. "I would give up my company for you. Just for you."

"Fuck that's so hot" I moan.

"You are my life. You hear me. My fucking life. Mine" Nelsom growls.

I gasp as I climax just after he says those words. I pull Nelson into a deep kiss causing him to groan. He continues to pound into me until he climaxes spills into me. He kisses me deeply.

"I love you" Nelson says grabbing my face. "I love you so fucking much."

"Did you mean it when you said you would give up your company for me?" I ask.

"In a heartbeat. For you and for our baby" Nelson says.

I start to cry almost immediately. Nelson hugs me tightly. "I love you" I sob.
