Desired Hatred

Chapter 32

I didn't have to stay in the hospital for very long before I was released. Matt and his team visited me shortly after I got home. It was nice to have the team be so caring after everything. They had many questions about the time machine, which we gladly answered. Scott even stayed around more, allowing him and I to get closer as friends. Natalia never really got over me being in the hospital. It caused her to have nightmares and to be extra clingy which we countered by allowing her to spend time with Matt's kids. 

My parents passed the company on to Nelson and me so they could officially retire. This also meant that I got to start working again. The kids weren't happy at first but eventually got used to it as they got to spend time with their grandparents. I also was now Project 863's main contact when it comes to anything Syntec related as Nelson and I agreed, I was closer to them. I did eventually meet up with Autumn while she was in jail. Let's just say she was not happy to see me however I was more than happy to rub it in her face that I had won. 

Nelson became a lot more open with me. Telling me whenever something happened even if it was small. I told him that he didn't need to but he insisted. I guess you can say even Nelson and I have been even closer. I never would have thought that I would be this happy especially when so many years ago I desired to hate Nelson. 

I guess you could say that I now desire his love and desire to be happy and by his side for the rest of my life.
