C h a p t e r 5 3

"Y/n It's time to wake up" Amane gently spoke causing the young female to stir awake "Good morning" Y/n said while pushing her sheets off of her "You will be having breakfast with your family this morning" She told her "Huh? Every one is going to be there?" She asked while rubbing her eyes.

"Yes" Amane responded "Thank you for reminding me, I'll be ready in a little bit" She gave her a smile. She answered with a nod before leaving the room. The young female lazily stood up, walking towards her closet to pick an outfit for today. She settled on a simple bright yellow sunflower dress with puffy lace sleeves. Once she dressed herself she walked to her nightstand to find a single round pill.

Without her knowing, Illumi and Milluki experimented with different types of ingredients to make a new medication she can use. The antibiotics she use to take were no longer affective so they quickly came up with something new which resulted in one single pill.

Y/n took the pill into her hands and used the glass of water on her nightstand to swallow it. When she set the glass down she noticed a note, she assumed it had something to do with the new antibiotic but it was written by Yin.

To Y/n

Something came up and I need some time to figure it out. I'll be back in a month or two so don't worry so much about me and as for Yang, I'll explain it to you later. Take care of yourself and we'll also be getting that refund back once I get back.

The note made made her laugh but it couldn't hide her concern. What they had said about Yang led her to think that something might have happened, she hasn't seen them ever since the encounter with the Phantom Troupe. Not only was it Yang who left but Yin as well. She began to have an uneasy feeling in her chest but she pushed it aside since she might have something else to deal with.

Since Illumi and Hikari were now married she would be considered family so it would be expected that she joins them but of course it was optional but due to a certain someone for the next two months it was made mandatory that Hikari and or any of the Akihiro family needs to attend every family dining.

Deeply sighing to herself she placed the note down into her nightstand before walking out of her room. On her way to the dining room she saw Hikari and Illumi walking side by side. Illumi was quietly listening to Hikari and nodding to show he was listening, the atmosphere around them wasn't tense at all, it was calming and peaceful.

Y/n never thought that her brother, who rarely smiled and showed any form of affection would be so intent at listening to his wife's words. Seeing this sight in front of her she happily smiled to herself. The plan that was created might not be needed anymore since Y/n's true goal was achieved.

Initially it was suppose to help Hikari but her true objective was to figure out if Illumi did or didn't have any feelings for her and if it was true that Hikari didn't love him anymore. No matter what she said, Y/n could see that she still was deeply in love with him but chose to deny it.

As she continued to watch them she stopped herself and Amane until they were out of sight "Is there something wrong?" Amane asked, confused "No, just wanted to give them more space" She simply answers, continuing to walk. Once they reached the dining room Amane opened the door for her, when she walked in everyone was already seated. Taking her seat she couldn't help but notice Killua with a grim expression as Kira was sitting quite close to him. The young female couldn't help but chuckle earning her a glare from the white haired boy. 

While eating breakfast the dining room was quiet. Silva didn't speak at all which was unusual but she was soon to figure out the reason. About 15 minutes have passed and one by one they all began to leave. When Y/n was about to leave Illumi gave her a stare that she couldn't ignore, he nudged his head pointing towards Hikari. As she walked towards her she stopped right next to her side, when she motioned for her to come closer she whispered in her ear "We can call off the plan" When she pulled away she smiled at her "I'm glad" Y/n said as she gave her a smile.

'I'm so happy for Hikari, I hope that Aniki feels the same way too but when I think about them it makes me think about Silas. I wonder what he's doing right now.'

"ARE YOU TWO INSANE!?" Keres yelled at the two males, mortified "You mean to tell me you're going to get a job working for some rich guy's son just so you can see Y/n? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MINDS!?" She yelled even loader "We're doing it for the money too though...." Shoe lowly said "THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"

"This" She takes the paper from Silas' hand "This doesn't even give you enough information on where your going to work at and your really going to take that risk. For all we know this could be a scam" She ranted "No it's not, the guy who manages the bulletin board said a guy in a suit but the paper up" Shoe said back receiving a glare from her  "He's a pretty trust-worthy guy but are you to sure you wanna do this? You should know that there's no going back on this once you do it."

The two boys looked at each other and nodded their heads "Yes" They both said in unison "Jeez what would Y/n think?" She rubbed her head in frustration "Keres don't worry so much about us, we'll be just fine" Silas said reaching for the paper but she quickly moved it away from him "Did you already forget that Y/n is a Zoldyck!? One wrong move and you guys might get killed!" She shouted frantically.

"I really don't wanna die but you only get to live one life so we're gonna use it to our fullest" Shoe interjected "And by the way the paper has a back side to it" He grabs the paper from her and begins to read aloud "If you are willing to take on this task please come to the Republic of Padokea on September 4th to the Akihiro Mansion by 2:00 in the afternoon, this task requires the employee to be able to protect and watch over the young master." Once he read all the contents on the paper he looked up at them with a smile "I don't think there's anything you need to worry about, me and Silas will be just fine." 

With a deep sigh Keres had no other choice but to give in "Alright but don't blame me if you guys get killed and don't expect me to explain to Y/n what you two are doing" She crossed her arms walking away. Once she was out of view Shoe looked over at Silas who had gone silent "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked one last time "Yeah as you said we only live once so let's live out lives to the fullest" He said with a determined smile on his face "Okay! So let's go live our lives to the fullest!"
