Making Tarts

[LOCATION: Woods Behind Campus]

After school, Yukiko traded some of her Pokemon to help in the kitchen and right now they were looking for chestnuts. She had Butterfree out for her to have fresh air.

"Wow! This another one of your pokemon?" Ace asked.

Yukiko nodded as she showed the pokedex information for Butterfree.

'Butterfree, the Butterfly Pokemon. A Bug/Flying type. The Evolved form of Metapod and the final evolved form of Caterpie. Its wings are covered in a waterproof dust, allowing it to fly on rainy days. It can locate fields of flowers by smell even by miles.'

"Wow, that's impressive." Deuce remarked.

And thanks to Butterfree, they located the chestnuts.

"Whoa! There really are a lotta chestnuts here! If we have this much, then it's all-you-can-eat marron tarts for us! Gehehe..." Grim chuckled as he started to walk without taking a certain thing into account. "Let's hurry and—Ouch!! Gah! The chestnut's thorns dug into my pawpads!"

"That's because chestnuts are prickly, so that other animals can't eat them." Yukiko told the cat as she gently took the Thorns out of Grim's paw.

"Looks like it'll be impossible to pick them up with bare hands. I would also like to have a bucket to place them all in, too." Deuce said looking around for a bucket.

"Maybe we can find those things in the botanical garden?" Ace asked.

"Good idea." Deuce added as they walked over to the garden.

Once they were at the garden, Butterfree zoomed to admire the flowers.

"Whoa! It looks bigger on the inside." Ace remarked.

"We should be able to find the necessary tools here. Should we split up and look?" Deuce asked.

"Sure, Grim, Pachi, Butterfree and I will check the inner gardens." Yukiko volunteered.

"I'll go right, then." Ace decided.

"I'll check west." Deuce finished.

As the trio split, Yukiko, her Pokemon and Grim came across an interesting area of fruits. "Hey, come look at this. It looks like there're tonsa fruits here! They smell so good!" Grim expressed gleefully as Butterfree agreed.

"These are all plants I've never seen before." Yukiko said as she looked around, but she wasn't looking where she was going. 

"Ow–!" A new voice said.

'Wha? Did I step on something?' Yukiko thought as she looked down, seeing it was a long cat-like tail.

"Hey. You've got guts stepping on someone's tail without apologizing."
A new individual said as he stood up.

He was a tall man with tan skin and fairly defined muscles. He has thick, dark-brown hair that goes down to his mid-torso, with long, side-parted bangs that fall over his eyes. Two sections of hair on both sides of his face are braided and tied at the ends with yellow bands. He had emerald green eyes, and a thin scar over his left eye that goes from his eyebrow to his cheek. A black lion tattoo wrapped around his left arm, just below his shoulder. He was wearing a yellow vest which signifies he's from Savanaclaw.

But what caught Yukiko's attention was that he had cat ears and tail!

"Are you the guy tending to this place? Wow, you've got quite a scary mug..." Grim asked the new individual.

"I went here thinking I can have a peaceful nap, but then my tail gets stepped on. This's the worst." He grumbled, ignoring Grim.

"I'm so sorry!" 'But It's your fault for letting your tail stick out on the path.' Yukiko thought.
