Magical Shift Rumble!

True to Cater's word, people were questioning the creatures that were in the field. They never seen anything like them.

"Wow! Is that a walking Jackal?"

"What kind of mantis is that?"

"That's a floating sword! Is it a ghost?"

So all eight teams were set for the first round matchups....

Diasomnia vs. Heartslabyul
Savanaclaw vs. Scarabia
Pomefiore vs. Octavinelle
Ramshackle vs. Ignihyde

"Ah man! We'll be facing Malleus in the first round~" Cater said in mock sadness.

"But You're lucky Yuki. Ignihyde focuses in tech, not athletics." Ace added.

"I hear they may throw the match...since their not that interested in the game either way, but they have to compete." Deuce said.

"Well, that's the luck of the game yanno." Grim smirked.

"Either way Grim, let's make the match showy for the audience!" Yukiko said as her pokemon agreed.

Like they predicted, Ignihyde didn't really do a lot and Ramshackle easily won their round.

But the people or at least excited of the power that the Pokemon had shown.

Grim and Raboot with firepower, Sandslash with ice and water, Metang and Ageislash with Shadow Ball and Strength, and Lucario and Lurantus with their speed.

"You have to admit, her creatures are tough, big bro!" Othro said to Idia.

"Yeah, though why hasn't anyone heard of them before?....And something tells me they'll get past the next round..." Idia said as he actually stayed to watch the rest of the matches.

In the process, the four teams left were Diasomnia, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle, and Ramshackle.

The next matches were:

Octavinelle vs. Ramshackle

Diasomnia vs. Savanaclaw

"Whoa, Leona's gonna face Malleus in the second round this time! I suppose it's a change of pace from them getting beat on the first round." Grim spoke.

"And following their match, we're up against Octavinelle. Which means..." Yukiko said as Pachi frowned.

"We'll be facing those twins..." Grim lamented.

"Grim, feel free to take a break, Charizard, you up for it?" Yukiko asked as Charizard smirked.

"Thanks!" Grim plopped onto the bench.

As the Ramshackle vs. Octavinelle match commenced, both sides were evenly tied within 5 minutes; Octavinelle and Ramshackle with 12 points each. 

Although the Octavinelle students were intimidated by the big Shiny Charizard.

Floyd attempted to use water spells on him only for them to be countered by Sandslash and Ageislash.

"Those two are good..." Grim stated in the time-out. And their match only had 5 minutes left. But at least the crowd were on the verge of their seats with this match.

"Yeah, I can see why Riddle said to be weary of them." Y/N said as Sandslash took a drink from a water bottle.

With the match back on, it looked like Octavinelle might take the match when Floyd was gonna snatch the disk from Metang.

But then Raboot sped up as did Metang and then....
