The Truth

It was a quiet Friday afternoon after class as Yukiko had just finished homework with Grim, Ace and Deuce in Ramshackle so they were eating some Comfrey Fruit Sandwiches.

Then Rotomdex appeared.

"Incoming call.....it's Angela!"

"Great-Aunt Angela?! How?!" Yukiko yelled as she watched the screen show her great-aunt.

"Yukiko! Thank goodness you picked up. The Alolan Guardians sensed your disappearance and everyone's worried. Are you ok?" Angela said.

"Yes I'm OK, and all my pokemon are with me. They are OK too. That mirror they found, it brought me to another dimension, it's called Twisted Wonderland." Yukiko explained.

"Another dimension? That would explain it. We'll try to get the Creation  Trio to get a way there, but it'll take some time." Angela said.

"Alright, I'll focus on surviving here. Don't worry, I found friends here to help me out."

"That's good to hear hun.........I....think you need to know something before I go."

Hm?

"Remember how your mother said she wanted to tell you something before she disappeared? Well..........

The truth is neither she nor I were from your father's time. We came to Almia from over 1000 years in the past."

"She was the youngest of four in a royal family, your grandparents had her and three older sons. Her mother, my sister, passed on a few months after she was born. Her husband was Almia's king. You know of the legend of The King and The Three Princes?"

"Yeah, long ago, even before it was filled with snow, Almia Castle was ruled by a king with three sons. The king wanted peace for Almia but his vigorous sons changed all this. He banished all three of his sons. One in red went to a volcano. One in yellow went to a desert. The youngest prince, one in blue, was allowed to stay. Soon, the king felt guilty over his decision, causing darkness to consume him, forming the Shadow Crystal.

However, few people knew he had a fourth child, a baby girl with pure white hair. Mother was that child?"

"Yes, your uncles realized what was happening and fought together to seal the Shadow Crystal. They were not strong enough to defeat him and it was foretold that the Shadow Crystal would threaten the world again. I volunteered to go forward into the future with your mother as your uncles sacrificed themselves to become three gems as the Tears of Princes which would counter the Shadow Crystal's power.

I had to leave her with a foster family as I she would be targeted by potential enemies if I kept her.

"Wow...that's amazing!" Ace said.

"I suppose Yukiko's determination is a family thing. Who've thought her mom was such an extraordinary woman!" Deuce commented.

"Wait, if her mom was a princess, does that mean Yukiko's royalty as well?" Grim asked.

"Ah! It does!" Deuce exclaimed.

Yukiko's head was spinning from this revelation.
