At Ramshackle, Yukiko, the boys, Grim and the younger pokemon gathered pillows and blankets to make a giant fort in the living room.
They had some of Yukiko's Happy Snorlax Loco Moco and some Litwick Coco.
"That was good! To be honest, I think that it's better than Trey's baking." Ace said as he laid against the couch.
"I agree, you do know how to cook. Did your mom teach you how to cook?" Deuce asked.
"Ah, no, actually Burnet taught me. She was a friend of my family's." Yukiko smiled weakly.
"Why is that? You have a bad relationship with her or something?" Ace asked.
"Not at all, you see, she and dad are both missing, and they have been since I was six. My dad was an archeologist and mom was a Pokemon ranger. They went to an Ancient Ruin site years ago for a mission and they never returned. Some people back home thought they died but I think they are still out there. Another family Friend raised me after they were reported missing. Professor Kukui, he's like a second dad to me, and he also thinks they are still alive." Yukiko explained as she also told them about UltraSpace and portals.
"Well, from how you describe them, they both really love you and they would not want you to miss them too much. If you believe they are OK, then they are." Ace remarked.
"I agree. You had people to support your beliefs as well." Deuce smiled.
"Thanks." Yukiko smiled as she pet Grim who fell asleep in a food coma.
She then took out a binder which had pictures of her parents, Professor Kukui and Burnet, Samson Oak, her with the island Kahunas as she was holding a trophy with her and Pachi with big smiles along with Luxaray, Persian, Jumpluff, Primarina, and Charizard.

Other pictures included her Mantine surfing, having fun with her Pokemon, making malasada and out in the springs with her Alola friends.
Then other photos showed her with various pokemon and with multiple Gym Leaders as she won a badge.
Photos of her big smiles with her pokemon as they won Pokemon Leagues.
The oldest pictures of her parents had Luxaray and Persian which Yukiko explained that they were her parent's pokemon before.
Persian was her mom's partner since she was a Meowth and Luxaray had been with her dad since he was a Shinx.
And they had been mates since Yukiko's parents got together.
They even got to see her trophies and winners ribbons.
They never saw so many awards and Accomplishments!
