Final Exams

Once again, the school was bustling, mainly because Final Exams were coming up and Yukiko wanted to make sure that she and Grim were ready for it.

But the night before the exams, Yukiko had another dream.

This time it was about the ocean.

She saw a mermaid rescuing a human prince and vanishing as he awoke, realizing a girl rescued him.

The mermaid looked like she was in love with him too.

"Well that is sweet." Yukiko said but then she saw two eels chuckling darkly as the dream ended.

Morning of the last exam day....

"Fungi?" Grim asked.

"Any of a group of spore-producing organisms feeding on organic matter, including molds, yeast, mushrooms, and toadstools. Fairy Dust?" Yukiko said.

"A powder that gives the power of flight to whatever its sprinkled upon. Last ingredient for a basic invisibility potion?"

"Eye of a Newt. Primary ingredient for a luck potion?"

"Four-leaf Clover. A plant ingredient for a love potion?"

"Trick question. Rosemary, Hibiscus, and Lavender.

"Nyaha! We'll ace the Alchemy final before anyone knows." Grim giggled as Yukiko set up the last touches for lunch.

[LOCATION: Classroom]

Yukiko and Grim was finished with their test and was looking over to check if they missed anything.

Then Professor Crewel spoke. "Time is up, you dogs. Put your pens down obediently, and pass your answer sheets forward.
That concludes all of the written exams for this class."

ALL: YAAAAYYY!!!

"Sit! It's still too early to celebrate. All the bad boys that will get failing marks will be taking remedial classes over Christmas break.
I will whip you into shape, so be ready. Class dismissed." Crewel smiled as the students left but only Ace, Deuce, Yukiko and Grim were left. Pachi stayed back at Ramshackle so not to disturb the exams.

"Ah~! It's finally over!" Ace stretched his arms.

" I did all that I could. All that's left is to wait for the results." Deuce said sounding confident

"Ahaha! A test like this's a piece of cake for me!" Grim exclaimed.

"Though that's because I helped you focus on studying."

"Huh? You guys seem confident even though you normally make such defeated faces after a test~" Ace teased.

"Hehe, that is Deuce! I'm a bit different from the past me already, yanno.
Be prepared to ask me for help with your studying next time! I'll be waiting to hear "What a genius you are, Grim", yanno!" Grim chuckled.

"Sorry, but I am pretty confident this time. I'll be taking that glory for myself." Deuce smirked.

"Pretty rich hearing that from the same dude who cried his eyes out because he barely passed.
Well, I'm pretty confident too, so I ain't losin'."
The boys said as they interacted.

"You guys studied really hard for the exams, huh?" Yukiko asked.

"Pretty much~♪ Studying's easy~♪" Ace smiled.

"Alright, classes are over, so I might as well head to the track-and-field club." Deuce said.

"I'm gonna play basketball and exercise 'til I drop. Alright, see you all later then." Ace waved as he left.
