Of Magic, Tamers And Beasts Of Power

Lunchtime Rush

It was around the end of September, and a lot of things happened for Yukiko.

Along with school, she found herself telling the Heartslabyul boys of her career and hobbies as a trainer, performer, coordinator, actress, cook and so on.

She even showed the cafeteria ghosts how to make the special pokepuffs and the students loved them!

Right now, Yukiko was sleeping in her room at night, only to have another dream.

"I can hear the sound of the wind."
Yukiko said to herself as she sees herself at a huge rock formation.

It was surrounded by a variety of animals she never saw before. But she knew they were not Pokémon.

She then saw a feline creature walking with a mate? and a monkey-like creature taking a small cub with a smile as the parents looked on with proud smiles.

The monkey-creature then lifted the cub into the sky for all the animals to see.

'This...this is a celebration. Those feline creatures must be the rulers over the animals and that must be their child. The next king....' Yukiko realized as the dream ends.

Then she woke up, in a daze, not really sure why she dreamed about wild animals now.

Then Grim's sleeptalking interrupts them.

"Boooommm!! And crash~~!! Nyanyaaaa~~!!"

"What is he dreaming of?."

"Gunyaaa~ How’s that… D’ya finally know how strong Grim is…" Grim smiles in his sleep.

"Grim, time to wake up." Yukiko nudges Grim.

"I defeated that tyrant Riddle~ Wha—Huh? Ramshackle Dorm?" Grim looks around only to be upset. "Oh, man, it was just a dream… I thought I could make Riddle my lackey now… How disappointing."

"That was a rough incident, true." Yukiko said as Pachi yawned as she woke.

"Alright! Let’s go to the school so we can learn more about being great magicians!" Grim cheered.

Ugh… I think the only magic Professor Trein can cast is one that makes his students fall asleep.
No matter how hard I struggle, I still end up sleepy!" Grim complained after morning classes.

"You fell asleep 5 minutes after the class started. You didn’t struggle at all." Deuce said bluntly.

"Hey, I didn’t ask you!" Grim yelled.

"It’s finally lunch~ What should I eat~?" Ace cheered as he saw a long line. "Huh… Looks like there’s a lotta people in the cafeteria today…" As he said that, a cafeteria ghost popped up.

"Today is a once-in-a-month special day! The famous bakery from the foot of the mountain is doing business here for the day! Early bird gets the worm, so go now if you don’t want the goods to sell out!" The ghost smiled.

HEARTSLABYUL STUDENT A: I’ll have 3 chocolate croissants!

HEARTSLABYUL STUDENT B: Score! I managed to buy some! This shop’s egg sandwich is seriously good~!

The cafeteria ghost then gasped. "The egg sandwich is already sold out! And there’s only one deluxe minced cutlet sandwich left!"

"Wow. Oh, did you also put out the pokepuffs I showed you how to make?" Yukiko asked.

"Did we ever! They're selling like hot cakes!" The cafeteria ghost said.

A Scarabia student smiled as he ate a Spice Puff. "Mmm! So delicious!"

"Score! I got a deluxe citrus puff!" A Heartslabyul student cheered.

"A sweet puff for me!" A Pomefiore student said.
