Taehyung played with the hem of his shirt for a whole fifteen minutes now, too shy and nervous to utter a word. The cool wind passing through the car window caressing his soft locks made him feel less tensed. Next to him was the old Jeon, busy with his newspaper, glasses resting on the top of his nose.

The drive was silent and Taehyung was dying from being too uneasy. Since this morning, when his father-in-law had called him to go on the graveyard together he felt really uncomfortable yet happy to go alone with Mr. Jeon, anywhere he would feel nothing but awkward.

"We're here son" he heard the old man suddenly talking, slapping him away from his messy mind, he nodded and followed the elder out of the car. Arm in arm like they were the closest person ever, they walked to his parents' grave and kneeled down to place the fresh flowers Taehyung was holding.

"Hi guys, i'm here with uncle Jeon today, i promised you right? And here we are, but he was the one who called me" he chuckled. The elder fondly smiled looking at the scene.

"Donghyuk, this kid didn't grow up at all, he's more handsome now but he's still pouting when he's talking to you. I hope you're okay without me because i'm not about to die yet"

Taehyung found himself giggling, his young age memories filling his mind and warming his heart, he remembered his dad and the old Jeon joking around, their laugh, their little insults and all of that.

"Taehyung, why don't you tell them about Jungkook?" the boy suddenly felt shy hearing Jungkook's name, he smiled with blushing cheeks

"Well, i already told you a lot about him right? That we are married and all but..um we are getting along well now, we are closer than before"

"Oh really? I didn't even know that" the elder stated, perplexed.

"Yes father, we are okay now" he said as he got up to look at his father-in-law, he was still shy but he felt more comfortable to say the less

"So, are you still leaving after the contract is over, exactly in one month?"

The question left a pang in Taehyung's chest, now that he felt so happy, the thought of leaving Jungkook was hella scarying him

"I don't know father, it's my dearest dream to go, or it was but- i don't know father, the situation had been confusing these days" he mumbled, he felt his tears dangerously nearing but he swallowed them away

"You love him don't you" the elder calmly asked, placing his hand on Taehyung's shoulder as a comforter

"I don't know, i think yes but he-"

"Don't worry about him Taehyung, he had always been an honest boy, if ever he felt something for you he will tell you"

"I hope so" Taehyung sighed, sadly.

The whole week was just magical for him, he felt happy and better than he could ever be with Jungkook. He already knew he was inlove with Jungkook for awhile now, but only the thought of what his husband might feel for him in return was a frightening cave he wouldn't ever dare to enter. He just wished Jungkook's father was right, that he would tell him whatever he is feeling, maybe not now but at least before he leaves, they would be able to talk

The silence reigned between them, Taehyung too lost in his thought until both heard a phone ringing

"I'll take this, bid goodbye to them for me" Mr. Jeon smiled before picking up the call, disgressing from there

"We're leaving now dad and aunty, i love you" he smiled at his parents' frame one last time and went to the car where the older Jeon was already sitting patiently, waiting for him
